Azhagu serial - Magesh - Poorna fan fiction - Episode 32 - 21/10/2018

After poosari left, Azhagu, Pazhanisamy, Ravi were sitting in the living room. Poorna was cutting and eating some fruits in the dining table. Azhagu started "Neivethyam pongala kooda samy eduthukkala. Enna Ravi appa, ithellam? "Enna Ravi appa ipdi solreenga? Apdina avar sonna madiri namma Raviyum Sudhavum pirinju irukkarthu correct-nu solreengala?"

Pazhanisamy looked at Azhagu and Ravi. "Saami sonna vaakku Azhagu. Ippo enna kettu pochu? Avangalukum oruthara oruthar purinjuka kidacha time-nu ninachukatume? Sudha mattum paavam enna pannuva? Sudha was in the kitchen. She felt like a huge burden was lifted off from her shoulder since the poosari said that she shouldn't start her life with Ravi until they do all the ritual duties for Surendhar. She was torn between her real feelings and Ravi's desires for a while. She wasn't able to get through Ravi when it comes to sharing the feelings. For some reason, he never seemed to listen to her. Recently she also is so confused about his hot and cold nature. Sometimes he seems to care for her a lot and giving her space, but then other times, she felt like Ravi is sad and she is the reason behind his sadness. Anyhow she is able to breathe now freely after few months of ordeal. 

"Ammadi Sudha, inga konjam vaa ma" called Pazhanisamy.

"Ah, itho varen pa"

Poorna was actually bored with these people conversation. Poorna thought "Appada, panchayatha oru vazhiya mudichanga, irukira nilamaiya paatha ethungalum samachu lunch ellam sapidathunga pola irukku, naama sakkarai pongal, konjam snacks ellam eduthu maadiku poi namma roomla settle aagida vendiyathu thaan, yedhavathu nalla movie pakkalam". 

Poorna took some sakkarai pongal in a bowl, a banana, some snacks, a bottle of water and left to her room. Azhagu and Ravi were looking at her while she was struggling to hold everything and walking up the stairs. "Hmm enna ponno? Namma veetulaye innoru ponnu kashta padurale apdingura ennam konjam kooda illama epdi ellathaiyum eduthutu poitruka paaru" said Azhagu in disgust.

Ravi thought "Pogattum, pogattum, ellam ava life romba santhoshama poratha ninappu, Magesh varattum, yedhavathu solli koluthi poduren, 10 naal avangala pirinju irukka sollirukulla saamy, romba nallatha pochu, en manipulation-ku ithu thaan right time".

Poorna put everything on the top of her bedside drawer, turned on the tv and started to watch a movie. She got a message from Magesh. "Hey antha sareela oru selfie eduthu anuppu" text message from Magesh.

Poorna smiled. "Work panra aala paaru".

She got the reply within a minute. "Hello, engaluku ithu lunch time".

"Amam, illana mattum romba sincere thaan"

"Hey ippo ennangura? Photo anuppuviya maatiya?"

"Mudiyathu poda"

Poorna blushed and thought "Paavam paiyan, saamy sonnathu ethuvum teriyathu illa".

She reminisced the moments when he seems to be assertive. Poorna smiled at all these thoughts. She took the mobile, put her malligai poo in front of her shoulder, took a selfie and looked at it. She put her hair in front with malligai poo and took another selfie. She took several of them in different poses and made sure she selected the ones in which she look best and sent it to Magesh. It hasn't shown the two ticks in whatsapp. "Hmm work pannum pothu internet on pannirukka maatan, evening thaan paapan, work-la avlo sincere, ipdi ella vidhathulayum oru nalla aanmagana iruntha entha ponnu thaan vizha maata?." She thought and continued watching the movie. 

Poombarai village got a rainfall in the evening. Magesh and his colleagues were returning from Madurai after some negotiation with an industry for the raw materials and they were returning in a jeep provided by the company. They wanted to reach the village before it gets too late in the night. But the uphill journey is never easy, that too during a rainfall. The driver suggested that they should take shelter in a nearby village as the condition is too dangerous for driving. One advantage of living near a village in hills is that people don't doubt when you ask for shelter unlike cities. People living near hills know that they will have to rely on each other during troublesome times and will support each other when others are in trouble. But since Magesh and his colleagues grew up in cities, they were reluctant about driver's suggestion. "Enna annan, iruttiduchi, intha nerathula yaar namakku help pannuvanga? Everyone got bit scared. "Enna annan, man sarivu ellam solreenga?" asked another colleague of Magesh.

"Annan, ippo inga enga thangalanu neenga solreenga?" asked Magesh. 

"Inga thaan thambi, oru chinna tribe group irukanga. Avanga kitta kettu paakalam"

"Saringa annan, apdiye seiyyalam" said Magesh.

"Jeepa ipdi road-a vittu irakki niruthitu nadanthu thaan thambi poganum"

"Saringa anna, apdiye pannalam" 

"Illa Magesh, intha rathiriyula kaatukulla malai yeri nadakarthu avlo safe-a enakku thonala" said one of his colleague named Charan.

"Illa Charan, vera vazhi illa namakku, yosichu paarunga, driver annan intha oorulaye poranthu valanthavaru. Avaruku intha road pathi ellam nalla teriyum, avare solraru, mazhai timela porathu risk-nu. Ethuku veen vambu?"

"Amam thambi, solratha kelunga, ennai apdiye follow panni yerunga"

Everyone started to follow the driver with their backpacks and laptop bags. Everyone helped each other by giving hand when they had to climb the hard rocks.

When they reached the flat surface, they could see some light from the lamps. 

The kudisais were formed in number of circles. Once they passed couple of kudisais, they could see a kudisai which had more lamps than any other kudisai and bigger in size than others and couple of elderly people were sitting there. They got up and enquired "Yaar neenga?".

Driver replied "Ayya, Poombarai gramam poganum, romba mazhaiya irukarthala vandiya irakki niruthittu ungakitta udhavi kekka vanthom."

"Sollunga, enna udhavi venum?"

"Innaiku rathiri inga engayavathu thanga idam kudutheenganna nalla irukkum"

Some people came out of their huts hearing these new voices. "Oru nimisham irunga, ayya-va kootitu varom." They went and brought another elderly person, but who looked stronger and healthier. 

"Ulla vaanga" that elderly person asked them to come inside that bigger hut. There was a Murugan idol inside that hut. "Sollunga, rathiri thanganuma?"

"Amangayya" replied the driver.

"Neenga ellam enga velai seireenga?"

"Poombarai village-la thangi irukkom ayya, dam kattura vishayama vanthirukkom" replied Magesh.

"Oh ho, dam kattarthuna kaata azhipeengale?" 

"Illangayya, naanga moonu thatta pirichu katta porom, ungaluku terinju irukkunu ninakiren, Kodaikanaluku mela naalanju malaiyum antha naalanju malaiku naduvula oorum irukku, ovvoru malaila irunthu vara aruviyayum intha oor paguthiyala pidichu reserve panra madiri thaan katta porom, ithukku kaata azhikanunu avasiyam illa, namma flat surface-la, I mean tharai mattama irukkira idathula konjam sari paduthi dam katti thanniya thekki vachale pothum"

Thalaivar looked at Magesh deeply. "Mmm...sari thaan"

"Ethanai peru vanthu irukeenga?" Thalaivar ayya counted and said "Yenpa Murugu, 4 peru vanthu irukanga, kurugappan kudil, valliyappan kudil, sevvanthi kudil, senthooran kudil, aaluku oruthavanga kudila irunthu ovvorutharukum, thinai kaliyum, kizhangu kariyum kudukka sollidunga"

"Ovvoruthar veetula irunthu unga ovvorutharukum sapadu vanthudum, saptutu intha murugan thunaiyoda ingaye paduthukanga, yenpa murugu, ivangaluku thalai thottavum, uduppu maathavum konjam paathuko, kambali porvai kuduthudu"

Murugu nodded obediently.

"Romba nandringayya" replied driver. 

Everyone else followed the driver words. "Amangayya, romba nandri, aana engaluku avlova pasikkala, apdiye pasicha kooda biscuit irukku, naanga manage pannikirom."

"Illa thambi irukkattum, enga thinai kaliyum, kizhangum saptu paarunga, romba nalla irukkum"

Murugu brought some thundu and veshtis for them to dry and wear. Everyone worn the veshtis and covered their top with the white thundu. By this time, four families have already brought thinai kali with kizhangu kari. Thalaivar and couple of others also had their supper with their guests while having a conversation about the dam, nature and city life style.

Magesh is loving this new experience. He thought about Poorna meanwhile as he couldn't call or text her as his mobile actually ran out of battery and even if there was charge, he couldn't have contacted her as there was no signal. They all had a chat and used that big single kambali porvai to cover themselves and went to sleep.

Poorna kept checking her mobile and was wondering why her pic msgs were not delivered yet and why Magesh hasn't contacted her today in the evening. There was a worry and fear started to spread over her spine. She tried to call him, but it went to voice mail. She couldn't sleep.
