They have already informed the lady inspector about Kavya's disappearance. Everyone went to different places to search for Kavya. It is next day evening, still Kavya is not found. Poorna didn't want to disturb Magesh much while he was searching for Kavya. So she called him only twice in the morning to enquire about Kavya. She called Magesh for the third time that day evening to check if Kavya is found.
"Magesh, yethavathu information kidachutha Kavya pathi?"

Vasantha started to think how they will conduct the function.
Friday came, still Kavya is not found. Around 6.15am, they got a call from the Koil Iyer asking them to come to the temple. Ravi, Magesh and Thiruna went there. Koil Iyer took them around the Koil Pragaram to a big mandapam kind of hall and showed them Kavya sleeping under the chariot. "Intha ponnu inga eppo vantha epdi vanthaane enakku puriyala pa, pudhan kizhamai saayangalam intha room thiranthu sila darisana porutkal ellam eduthutu ponen, appo thaan vanthirukanunu ninakiren, athukappuram intha room-a naan thirakkala, innaiku thaan thiranthen". Meanwhile Thiruna tried to wake up Kavya hastily. "Kavya, Kavya, ezhundiru Kavya?" After listening to Iyer, Magesh and Ravi also came and touched her, she was breathing, but her body was bit chilled. Iyer brought some thulasi theertham and asked them to give it to her. They sprinkled some water on her face and she slightly woke up, then they gave her the thulasi theertham, she woke up fully, but looked tired. They took her back to their place. Azhagu and Pazhanisamy took her to her room and enquired. She said "Wednesday evening, news paathapo oru rapist pathi sonnanga ma, enakku romba kovam vanthuduchu, ungakitta sollama velila poiten, apram ennamo teriyala, intha Koiluku ponen, ennaiyum ariyama koil-la iruntha antha room-ku poiten pola, vera edhuvum enakku nabagam illa". Azhagu called the lady inspector and informed her about Kavya being found. The inspector asked her to bring Kavya for an informal discussion and also advised to take Kavya for councelling and inform about this incident to the doctor.
Magesh asked Azhagu if the function can go ahead since Kavya is found. Azhagu is not in the mood for the function as she wanted to take Kavya immediately to a doctor. But she can't risk saying no when it is Magesh who is asking. She is already concerned about the Ravi's verbal attack on Poorna on Wednesday. So far, Magesh hasn't asked anything about it. May be Poorna didn't tell him or he knows but he is waiting for a time to confront them? So many thoughts were going through Azhagu and she doesn't want to get on the wrong side of Magesh, so she nodded yes for the function. Magesh went and asked Poorna to get ready to go to his place. Poorna was hesitating. "Yen enna aachu?"
"Illa function ingaye vachukalame, konjam pera thaana invite pannirukom, avangalukum sapaadu hotel-la solliyachu, anga panratha inga panna porom, avlo thaana?"
"Yen Poorna intha thideer change? Athai anga function nadakura madiri thaana sonnanga?"
Vasantha didn't understand Poorna's hesitation. "Yen Poorna anga panrathaa thaana pechu?"
Poorna didn't want to create a drama, so she got ready to go with Magesh. All of them went from Vasantha's place to Pazhanisamy's house and the function went well. Needless to say Azhagu and Vasantha weren't the best of the mates as they used to be. Vasanatha ordered the food and the lunch went well too. Vasantha left to her place as soon as the function was over. Magesh hit the bed straightaway after lunch as he didn't have any sleep for last two nights.
Poorna has been thinking since Wednesday night about what happened between her and Magesh. It is true that she feels attracted to Magesh and she can see how much Magesh likes her too. But what does it all mean? Has she fallen in love with him? Is he in love with her? So what about Ravi? Yes she feels angry and hurt towards Ravi and she knows no matter what, Ravi will never have the same place in her heart, but can she accept anyone else that soon? She used to think she cannot accept anyone else. When she agreed to marry Magesh, her only aim was to hurt Ravi and make him realize how much he hurt her, make him sorry for what he did, make him remorseful, not to lead a happy life with Magesh. But she doesn't understand why she changed or how she changed. She doesn't want to analyse all these things as it is too painful for her. Magesh's attention makes her feel special, makes her feel wanted and loved and that is like a medicine for her pain, so why analyse the unnecessary things? Why can't she enjoy and embrace Magesh's attention? After all said and done, Magesh is her husband, why she has to feel guilty to enjoy his attention and affection? But what about Ravi? Poorna was going through back and forth, arguing herself, trying to convince herself. She loved Ravi as long as she knows. She never looked at any other male in these 25 years. All the happiness, pleasure, love, family, everything good in the world, she wanted them to be given by Ravi, wanted to share with him, enjoy with him. Yes, she wanted them, but now she feels them with Magesh. Which one is right? Which one is valid? Which one is morally acceptable? What the world will say about her? This back and forth thinking gave Poorna headache. She applied eucalyptus thailam and lied on the other side of the bed around 3.30pm, nearly after an hour Magesh started to sleep. Magesh woke up around 5pm and noticed the smell of thailam and wondered if Poorna got headache. Poorna too woke up after 30 mins. Magesh went downstairs and brought back tea and snacks for himself and Poorna. Poorna refused to have them. "Yen Poorna, thalai valiya? Thailam vasanai vanthuchu...Ippo tea, snacks kooda vendangura? Yen enna aachu?"
"Illa lesana thalai vali thaan"
"Sari, tea kudicha kandippa better-a irukkum, kudi"
"Illa vendam, vittudunga please"

Magesh was talking to Pazhanisamy in garden for a while. Then he was getting upstairs to check on Poorna. As he passed Ravi's room, he happened to overhear the conversation between Azhagu, Sudha and Ravi in Ravi's room. "Amma, Poorna annaiku nadantha problem apram namma veetula yedhuvume sapidala, note pannineengala?"
"Innaiku mathiyanam saptale" said Azhagu.

"Illa ma, enna irunthalum Ravi annaiku apdi pesi irukka koodathu, Poorna konja naala thaan nalla sapida arambichu iruntha, avakitta poi nee en sambalathula ukkanthu sapidura apdi ipdi nu pesi....ippo Magesh vera inga irukkaru, avarkitta ava yedhavathu solli periya problem aagidumonu bayama irukku ma" said Sudha.
"Sudha, nee konjam summa irukiya? Naan sonnathula enna thappu irukku? Yara pathiyum yosikama sapiduvaa, badam, pista-nu vaangunga-nu solraa, ivalaa ippo sambarichu kudukura Badam, pista-nu sapida? Veetula evlo selavu aaguthu, konjamavathu yosikanum"
"Illa Ravi, Magesh kooda ithanai naal ukkanthu saptaan-nu neenga sonnathum thaan ava kannula thanniya vara arambichuthu, yaaruka irunthalum kattuna purushana pathi apdi pesina kovam vara thaan seiyyum".
"Vidu Sudha, Magesh nethu vanthu 50000 kudutha sariya pochu? Kalyanam aagi two months avana sambarichu kuduthaan? Magesh got an idea what might have happened couple of days ago and he felt angry and sad. But he didn't confront them.
He asked Poorna to join him for dinner, Poorna refused. "Enna Poorna, innum thalai valikutha?"

"Illa doctor kitta pora alavuku ellam thalai valikala, just lesana thalai valithaan"

Poorna took a saree and went into the restroom, came back "Sari vaanga pogalam".
Magesh took her to a restaurant. "Enna doctor kitta pogalanu sollitu inga vanthirukeenga? Enakku thaan pasikalanu sonnane".
"Unakku lesana head ache thaana? Kandippa doctor kitta polanu thonuchuna pogalam, illana restaurant pogalam, ethu-nu neeye decide pannu"
Poorna thought for few seconds. "Veetula sapida pidikalanu thaan thalai valikuthunu poi sonnom, restaurant-la sapidalam" thought Poorna.

Both of them ordered their favorite dishes and started to eat. Poorna was eating well. Magesh was looking at her with a smile. "Inimel veetulayum intha madiri nalla sapidanum, sariya?" Poorna didn't say anything, she kept her head down and was just concentrating on the food. Magesh continued "Naan kodaikanal-la namakku veedu paaka poren, one or two months-la unna kootitu poiduren, athu varaikum, chamatha saptu healthya irukkanum, okva?" No response from Poorna.
"Amam, en salary pathi ethuvume kekkalaye nee? He noticed the glimpse of pride in Poorna's eyes when he said he gave part of his salary to his father.

"Obvious-a appa, apram Amma, Ravi, Sudha anni, Thiruna, Kavya ellarum thaan, yen kekura?"

Poorna became upbeat and asked "Dessert ellam illaiya?".
"Unakku illatha dessert-a? Enna venumo order pannu"
"Hmmm.....ice cream-ye panren, athu thaan ennoda favorite, ungaluku enna order pannalam?"
"Hmm...naanum ice cream-ye sapiduren"
After enjoying delicious ice cream and paying the bill, they came out. "Thalai vali ellam ice cream saptathum poirukkunu ninakiren" teased Magesh.
"Athu....athu vanthu, evening konjam thalai vali kuranju thaan irunthuchu, athaan...." Poorna struggled.
"Paravalla, paravalla, athaan thalai vali poiduche, oru movie paathutu veetuku polam illa?" asked Magesh.
"Mmm sari pogalam" smiled Poorna.
Magesh called Pazhanisamy and informed him that he and Poorna will be late to home as they are going to watch a movie. During the movie, Magesh held Poorna's hand and was playing with her fingers. Poorna felt something churning in her stomach and felt her temperature was going high. In the second part of the movie, Poorna again started to question about her feelings towards Magesh and its validity. So she pulled her hand from him, and she noticed in few seconds, Magesh's face changed and he looked sad. Poorna also started to feel sorry and sad. She can see for the rest of the movie, he didn't smile or didn't try to touch her. On their way back to home, it started to rain, Poorna held Magesh's shoulders hoping that it will cheer him up, but he was stone faced. Magesh stopped the two wheeler in a shop and both of them were standing in front of the shop for the rain to subsidise. Poorna kept looking at him, but he didn't see her. When there was a thunderstorm and lightening strike, Poorna held his hand and looked at him, he also looked at her. Poorna smiled, it made Magesh happy, he held her hands. Once the rain got reduced, they started their journey again.
When they reached their room, despite the chillness in the air, they both felt like they were getting a fever. Poorna opened the cup board and took a towel, handed it to Magesh. While she was giving it to him, he pulled the towel and Poorna towards him. She fell on him. Poorna looked at Magesh's eyes for few seconds and buried her face on his chest. They both embraced each other, their breathing was getting fast, they were melting into each others arms and entered into an eternal bliss. The night became day, the day became night and the Saturday passed with ordered pizza and fried, both of them stayed in their room much to the surprise/shock of Azhagu and to the envy of Ravi. Magesh and Poorna were in bliss since Friday night till Sunday afternoon oblivious to Ravi's envy and anger. Sunday afternoon, Magesh left to Kodaikanal happily looking forward for Poorna to join him soon. Poorna was also thinking to join him while bidding farewell to him. Time will tell if they both will join or if their life will be greyed out by a dark cloud.

"Ellarum thaan irunthanga"
"Ellarum-na?"
"Obvious-a appa, apram Amma, Ravi, Sudha anni, Thiruna, Kavya ellarum thaan, yen kekura?"
"Illa chumma thaan ketten" said Poorna.
Poorna became upbeat and asked "Dessert ellam illaiya?".
"Unakku illatha dessert-a? Enna venumo order pannu"
"Hmmm.....ice cream-ye panren, athu thaan ennoda favorite, ungaluku enna order pannalam?"
"Hmm...naanum ice cream-ye sapiduren"
After enjoying delicious ice cream and paying the bill, they came out. "Thalai vali ellam ice cream saptathum poirukkunu ninakiren" teased Magesh.
"Athu....athu vanthu, evening konjam thalai vali kuranju thaan irunthuchu, athaan...." Poorna struggled.
"Paravalla, paravalla, athaan thalai vali poiduche, oru movie paathutu veetuku polam illa?" asked Magesh.
"Mmm sari pogalam" smiled Poorna.
Magesh called Pazhanisamy and informed him that he and Poorna will be late to home as they are going to watch a movie. During the movie, Magesh held Poorna's hand and was playing with her fingers. Poorna felt something churning in her stomach and felt her temperature was going high. In the second part of the movie, Poorna again started to question about her feelings towards Magesh and its validity. So she pulled her hand from him, and she noticed in few seconds, Magesh's face changed and he looked sad. Poorna also started to feel sorry and sad. She can see for the rest of the movie, he didn't smile or didn't try to touch her. On their way back to home, it started to rain, Poorna held Magesh's shoulders hoping that it will cheer him up, but he was stone faced. Magesh stopped the two wheeler in a shop and both of them were standing in front of the shop for the rain to subsidise. Poorna kept looking at him, but he didn't see her. When there was a thunderstorm and lightening strike, Poorna held his hand and looked at him, he also looked at her. Poorna smiled, it made Magesh happy, he held her hands. Once the rain got reduced, they started their journey again.
When they reached their room, despite the chillness in the air, they both felt like they were getting a fever. Poorna opened the cup board and took a towel, handed it to Magesh. While she was giving it to him, he pulled the towel and Poorna towards him. She fell on him. Poorna looked at Magesh's eyes for few seconds and buried her face on his chest. They both embraced each other, their breathing was getting fast, they were melting into each others arms and entered into an eternal bliss. The night became day, the day became night and the Saturday passed with ordered pizza and fried, both of them stayed in their room much to the surprise/shock of Azhagu and to the envy of Ravi. Magesh and Poorna were in bliss since Friday night till Sunday afternoon oblivious to Ravi's envy and anger. Sunday afternoon, Magesh left to Kodaikanal happily looking forward for Poorna to join him soon. Poorna was also thinking to join him while bidding farewell to him. Time will tell if they both will join or if their life will be greyed out by a dark cloud.
