Azhagu serial - Magesh - Poorna fan fiction - Episode 11 - 17/08/2018

Magesh packed everything to go to Coimbatore first and then to Poombarai village. He didn't force, not even ask Poorna to join him after her outburst two days before. He didn't say anything about their issue to his family members. He just informed them that he got a job and will be working in Kodaikanal for few months. He said he will be transferred to Chennai soon to avoid their pestering about taking Poorna with him. Poorna didn't involve in any of the discussion related to his travel plan. She mostly spent her time in their room. Magesh bid farewell to everyone and put his baggage in the taxi. He came upstairs and saw Poorna sitting in the sofa chair, resting her chin on her folded legs. He grabbed an ottomon stool opposite to her and sat on it. Poorna didn't look at him, she was looking away. Magesh took a sigh and tried to take Poorna's hand which was tightly held by her other hand. He looked at her as if requesting her silently to give her hand. She stared at him, her eyes looked empty, soulless. He finally managed to separate her hands and took one of the hand and hold it in his two hands fondly. He brought her hand to his eyes and pressed it on his eyes and sat silently for a minute or two. He took another sigh and pressed his lips on her hand gently for a minute or two. Poorna didn't try to stop him. She was looking away. He then told her "Take care". He relieved her hand, turned around and walked fast. There was a tear rolling down Poorna's cheek. After coming out of the room fast, Magesh paused for a second, wiped his tear and walked downstairs and left in taxi.

Magesh knew it won't be an easy task to convince Poorna to join him to live in Kodaikanal. But the thing which hurts him most is that he saw the glimpses of Poorna when she wished to go with him. He could see a change in her. The day he returned from Coimbatore, she looked dull and was wearing some old saree. But then the way she got confused around him when he looked at her, the way she got ready next morning wearing nice saree, waiting for Magesh to have breakfast with him, the way she asked about Kodaikanal stay, all these things gave hope to Magesh. He was happy, but he did his best hiding it as he doesn't want to alert Poorna. He knows she is growing feelings for him, but she doesn't realize it and he doesn't want to confront her about it as she will protest too much denying it and he also wants her to realize it on her own to feel that beautiful experience as he once felt when he realized he has feelings for her. But what if she never admits it? What if she never shares her world with him? It is a painful thought for Magesh as he wants to share his life with her, embrace her, melt in each other arms. But there is no point in worrying about these "ifs" now. Even if she never admits to him, he knows she has feelings for him, he didn't even think that she will grow feelings for him, but she has now, that is more than enough, at the moment, nothing much is lost there as they are still husband and wife. There is still hope, at minimum, he can be a friend to her as he promised. But being a friend, being there for her doesn't mean he has to be near her always. Some medicines are bitter, nevertheless it has to be given or taken for the cure. Magesh considered this time apart as such a medicine. He wouldn't leave Poorna alone like this in her own world unless he has a valid reason. He didn't force her to join with him, he didn't stay with her, he left her there alone, not because he doesn't care, but because he cares for her so much and he wants her to realize that the world she is trying to live in is not going to give her peace. This separation will definitely make her realize if Magesh's assumption is right. For now, he has to concentrate on his job, find a nice place to live as he knows for sure Poorna will join him soon, he should make everything ready and beautiful for her.

Poorna didn't move from the sofa chair since Magesh left. Only movement from her is the occasional tears. Once she could hear the taxi leaving, her weeping increased.
