Azhagu serial - Magesh - Poorna fan fiction - Episode 8 - 29/07/2018

Poorna woke up next morning feeling better and realized she was holding Magesh's hand. Magesh slept by lying his head on Poorna's pillow while sitting on the sofa chair. Poorna tried her best not to wake up Magesh while relieving herself from Magesh's hand and slowly got out of the bed and headed to restroom. Magesh's phone was also alarming a min later, he woke up and turned off the alarm and saw that Poorna got up before him. He stretched himself and opened the window curtains. The morning looked beautiful for him.

He got a call from his friend. Why he is calling me this early? Magesh attended the call. "Sollu Raghav". "Hey, en company CEO Delhi-la irunthu engaloda innoru branch Coimbatore-ku vanthirukaru. He asked me to come there to discuss about a project. He showed interest in your CV for the new position and since you mentioned my name in the email, he enquired about you to me. Nee enkooda vantha nerla paathu pesidalam. Enna solra?" asked his friend Raghav. "Sure da, naan varen. Ethanai maniku kilambanum?" "10.30-ku oru flight irukku da Coimbatore-ku, athula thaan naan poren, unakkum oru ticket pottudava?" Magesh hesitated a bit. He used to ask Azhagu, Pazhanisamy or Ravi for pocket money. Now he only asks Pazhanisamy for bike's petrol expenses and expenses related to his interviews travelling. But to go by flight, not sure if Pazhanisamy would have that much money as he also doesn't want to rely on Ravi anymore. "Enna da yosikira?" "Illa da, naan vena bus-la illa train-la varattuma?" "Hey nee bus, train-la vantha innaiku fulla poidum, naalaiku thaan avara paaka mudiyum. But nee avara innaike paakarthuthan better. If he is ok with you, he may have a formal interview or recommend you for HR interview tomorrow. Athuku thaan flightla polanu solren". Since his father was jobless for few months now and Ravi was the only breadwinner in his home, Magesh is hesitant to use Ravi's money. After all, it is because of him that he, Poorna and his family are going through a tough time and Magesh is not ready to forgive him yet and that too when Ravi is not remorseful of his actions. He got interrupted by his friend "Hey ennada silenta irukka? enna solra? Ticket podattuma? Nee aprama panam kudutha pothum". Magesh is bit relieved. "Is it ok if I return the money later?" asked Magesh. "Of course da, porumaiya kudu, onnum problem illa" reassured his friend much to the relief of Magesh. Poorna happened to hear half of this conversation and got the idea that it is about Magesh job and his money issues. Although she got some comfort from Magesh yesterday night, she knows for sure she is not in love with him and she needs to punish Ravi for his betrayal. Magesh being near her will not help for sure, even two days away from him will rekindle her angry and fire to take enough action to hurt Ravi. So she needs to help Magesh on this occasion, she thought and decided herself. "Magesh, enna aachu? Job interview-va?"

"Amam, coimbatore-la."

"Athuku ethuku ivlo thayangi yes solra un friendkitta? Selavuku yedhavathu kaasu venuma?"

Magesh hesitated for a bit and replied "Illa, friend paathukirenu sollitan".

"Friend ellathaiyume paathupaara? Apdiye paathukitalum epdiyum thiruppi kuduthu thaana aganum?" Poorna opened the locker, counted the money and gave to Magesh "Inthaa, ithula oru 10000 irukku. Intha credit card-ayum vachuko."

Magesh hesitated to take the money and card.

"Friend kudutha ok, naan kudutha vaangika maatiya? Ok, nee velaiku ponathum thiruppi kuduthudu, okva?" Poorna tried to convince Magesh.

Magesh finally took the money and card "Thanks."

"Eppo poganum?"

"Innaike poganum"

"Sari nee poitu vaa"

Magesh looked at her and said "Will you look after yourself?".

"Of course I'll" replied Poorna.

"Sari apdina naan kilamburen, correcta sapidu, healtha paathuko, naan veetuku poitu pack pannitu apdiye kilamburen, okva?"

"Mm sari".

Magesh went to his place, packed couple of good shirts, formal pants, couple of casuals and nightwears, laptop and all. He quickly informed his parents about the interview and left to the airport. "Epdiyavathu intha velai kidaicha nalla irukkum, Poornakittayum, mathavanga kittayum avamana padama irukalam, athu mattum illa, appavukum konjam helpfulla irukkum, naanum Poornava nalla paathuka mudiyum-ngura oru thembu varum, so interview nalla pannanum" all the possible positive outcomes made Magesh hopeful. He and his friend reached Coimbatore in the afternoon. After a quick catch up with his CEO, Raghav took Magesh to his CEO's room and introduced him and left them to have a private conversation and got back to his tasks. Magesh managed to inspire the CEO enough to qualify the next level of interview.

Poorna bid farewell to Vasantha albeit the plea of Vasantha to not leave until Poorna fully recovers from fever and cold. But Poorna wanted to be in Azhagu's place as she doesn't want Ravi and Sudha to get on with their life. She planted a mic in Ravi-Sudha bedroom and started to monitor their conversations. She provoked Sudha by saying how quickly she moved on from Surendar and also insinuated few things which indicated Sudha that she listens to Ravi-Sudha private conversation. Sudha got shocked how Poorna would know their private conversation. She confronted Poorna and Poorna admitted that she planted mic and she is not scared of consequences. Sudha doesn't know how to deal with this as she doesn't want to snitch Poorna to anyone else. Sudha didn't think her keeping their marriage a secret would affect Poorna this much. She knew it will make Poorna angry, disappointed, sad, but she didn't think Poorna will become this hateful and revengeful. Sudha now understands the depth of Poorna's hurt and regretted her keeping the marriage a secret, in fact, she regretted for signing the registration and all. Sudha started to think how she can sort out the mess Ravi started and the one she willingly participated. How she is going to cool down Poorna? Snitching Poorna is not going to cool her down. So Sudha has to think wise patiently and take her steps cautiously. As much as Sudha would like to leave this family and would do anything to cool Poorna, she knows that she cannot reverse the damage that has been done. Ravi is not going to leave her alone or remarry Poorna. So Poorna's life is either with Magesh or someone else or alone. Sudha started to think if she can do something that will make Poorna to accept Magesh and as a result, her hate can reduce. So many thoughts were going through Sudha's mind and she didn't notice the hate filled stares Poorna was throwing behind her back.

Poorna came back to her room angrily. "Evlo thittinalum kalluli mangi madiri nikkura, cha, konjamavathu thappu pannitom apdingura kutra unarchi irukka avaluku? Ellam avan, athu thaan antha Ravi kudukura idam. Ennavo oor ulagathula illatha ponna kalyanam pannikitta madiri avala apdi thaanguraan, hmm 25 varusham love pannina ponnu oru nimishathula thooki pottutu ivala kalyanam pannikittan, avanala epdi antha madiri seiyya mudinjuthu?". Poorna's anger turned into tears. "Oru velai ennai avan love pannave illaiya? Apdina opena sollirukalame, ipdi oru throgam panniruka vendame!".

It has been two days since Magesh left to Coimbatore. He has been busy with interview, company tour, socialising with his friend and colleagues. He called Poorna. The ring was going. Poorna didn't want to attend the call, she doesn't know why, she was hesitating to talk with him. For some reason, she started to struggle to talk to Magesh unless she is honest with him in what she says. Either she has to put up an angry front or she has to be her authentic self with him. Otherwise she felt uncomfortable. But she doesn't realize this herself, she just doesn't want to talk to him and that is all she knows for now. It has been sometime for her to reflect her emotions and analyse why and what. It is understandable and relatable. When something bad happens to us, we try to escape our wounds by putting up a front which is not our authentic self. We don't spend much time reflecting our inner self. After all, Poorna is a normal human, that too a girl who got robbed of her 25 years, who got robbed of her future dreams. It will take some time for her to face her demons and deal with them, until then, she will try everything else to deflect from her pain.

Magesh put away his mobile wondering why Poorna didn't attend the call. He called Vasantha and learnt that Poorna went to his place, he didn't reveal anything about Poorna not attending his call. He came for interview thinking it will last maximum two days, but then he is being involved in an upcoming project discussions for fresh ideas and he cannot miss this chance, so he has to stay here for at least one week.

Meanwhile Kavya is as usual busy with her murder projects and only God knows how she gets away with them walking with a blood dripping iron rod in the day light like a Badra Kali. Azhagu got shock news about Kavya through Sathya and she doesn't get time to gossip about Poorna to Sudha or Ravi these days. Ravi is busy polishing his victim card and his one liner "Naan enna ma thappu panninen?". Pazhanisamy, no wonder having a family filled with nava grahams, finally found his sanctum in his new job and he is happy being away from this family most of the time.

(That is the maximum I can do about other characters Rups. :D :P But seriously, my main aim is to concentrate on Magesh and Poorna and their character development, as it is a blog, I have to justify their characters by going deep into it).
