Azhagu serial - Magesh - Poorna fan fiction - Episode 14 - 18/08/2018

Magesh settled down with his colleagues in a shared house. For first few weeks, he will be mentored by his friend Raghav who will be here for couple of weeks. Magesh will have to mostly travel to Coimbatore and Madurai officially. The first weekend in Kodaikanal, Raghav took him to Gundar falls and the surrounding areas. Their project involves building a reservoir to save the water from Gundar falls and also to avoid flooding when the rainfall is big. His mind was going back and forth to Poorna thinking how happy he would be if she is with him now in this beautiful place. He hasn't called Poorna since he came to Coimbatore. Raghav interrupted Magesh's thinking "Enna Magesh wife nyabagama?"

"Athellam onnum illa da"

"Dei, marriage life-la naan unna vida senior da, ippo wife-a thaana miss panra? Kooptutu vanthirukalame da?"

"Illa da, first naan vanthu veedu ellam paathutu kooptutu varalanu plan"

"Hey enna da, ipdi kekura? edhuva irunthalum tharalama sollu da, naan onnum thappa ninaka maten"

"Poorna-vuku nadanthathu miga periya throgam da, un annan apdi pannirukka koodathu, but Poorna inimel unakkunu aayachu, nee thaan Poorna munna pinna iruntha kooda adjust panni avaloda santhoshama vaazha try pannanum" 

"Kandippa da" 

"Sari variya, Gundar falls-la oru kuliyal pottutu polam"

After taking bath, they walked for 30 mins or so to get back to Poombarai village centre. Poombarai has only few shops, hotels and only one bus terminal. They already became a regular customer in a  corner tea shop and a hotel. They had tea and bajji and ordered idly and dosa for themselves and for their house mates. At the moment, there are mainly Engineers and project managers who have arrived for this project. Once the place and estimations are finalised, they will recruit the constructors and other employees. The priority is mainly for the local people. Raghav and Magesh were sharing a room in the 6 bedroom mansion. The mansion was built in the period of pre-independence for English people as a holiday resort. Raghav got a call from his wife. Magesh started to pack up to give him a privacy, he was searching for his mobile, ear phone to leave. Raghav was talking to his wife "Sapten ma, nee saptiya?..........Innaiku aruvila kulichom.....athellam naan en udamba paathukiren, nee onnum worry pannatha.......". Magesh unintentionally happened to hear their conversation and was thinking to himself how nice it would to be cared by wife. 

On the other side, at Pazhanisamy's house, everyone was laughing and having tea and snacks downstairs. Kavya already brought some for Poorna. Poorna thought "Ithu onnu thaan kurachal, naan thappi thavari kooda keezha vanthu sapida koodathu-ngura madiri maadiku eduthutu vanthu kuduthutu poratha paaru, epdi ivangalala ellam ipdi happya irukka mudiyuthu? Poorna took a sip of tea and had a bite of cauliflower pakoda. Magesh-ku pidicha ore tea time snacks ithu thana? She remembered a thing that happened in Vasantha's place. Magesh and Poorna were in Vasantha's home. Vasantha asked "Magesh unakku enna snacks pidikum? Annan kitta ketta Magesh snacks perusa sapida maatan, apdiye sapta kooda yetho oru snack avanuku pidicha snack athu mattum thaan sapiduvan, but enakku ippo pattunu nabagam varalanu annan solraru, athu enna unakku pidicha antha ore oru snacks, naan senju tharen, en annan maganache thavira, ithu varaikkum unakku enna pidikunu kooda naan terinjukala, ippo en marumagan agitta, ippavum terinjukalana naan nalla mamiyaare illa, sollu, unakku enna pidikum?". 

"Paravalla athai, enakkunu ethuvum seiya vendam, neenga enna panreengalo pannunga"

"Athellam illa, unakku enna pidikum sollu?"

"Mmm enakku cauliflower pakoda pidikum athai"

Poorna remembered this incident and started to wonder if Magesh is eating well. "Amam avan call panna kooda illa, but naanum thaan call pannave illa, oru murai call panni pesalama? Nammala ilakkarama ninachuta enna panrathu? Enmela yetho kovathula irukkaan, pesalanna enna panrathu? Asingama agidume!? She called Magesh after few mins Magesh came out of the room while Raghav got a call. He couldn't believe his eyes to see Poorna's name in his mobile calling. He eagerly attended the call "Hello?".

There was a pause on Poorna's side. 

"Hello.."

"Sollu Poorna?"

"Enna solla solra?"

"Nee thaana call pannina, athaan sollu-nu sonnen"

"Yen nee call panni pesa maatiya?"

Magesh got bit happy. "Illa workla konjam busy, athan weekend pesikalannu...."

"Job kidachathum ennai ninachu paaka time illa"

"Hey loosu, unna marantha thaana ninaikarthuku" told Magesh.

Poorna felt bit uneasy, she got a feeling of something running through her spine, it made her excited and scared at the same time. She is lost what to say next. 

Magesh said "Poorna?"

"Poorna, irukiya?"

Poorna brought herself together and said "mm iruken"

Magesh smiled and asked "Saptiya?"

"Ippo mani 6.15pm, athukulla sapiduvangala?"

"Sari tea kudichiya?"

"Mmm kudikka arambichen, athukulla call panniten"

"Ohh..yen yedhavathu mukkiyamana vishayam sollanuma?"

"Athellam onnum illa"

"Apram?"

"Enna apram?"

"Illa apram edhuku tea-a fulla kudikama call panninanu ketten"

"Athu......athu vanthu chumma thaan, nee tea kudichitiya?"

"Mmm velila poirunthom, apdiye vara vazhiyula oru tea kadaila tea, snacks ellam saptutu thaan vanthen"

"Enna snacks sapta?"

"Mm bajji thaan sapten" 

"Vera edhuvum sapidalaya?"

"Night-ku idly, dosai ellam vaangitu vanthutom"

"Athu ok, vera ethuvum snacks sapidalaya?"

"Illai yen kekura?"

"Antha tea kadaila enna snacks ellam irunthuchu?"

Magesh thought to himself  "Nammala pathi visarikiralo illaiyo, snacks pathi nalla thaan visarikkura". He controlled his laughter and replied "Bajji, bonda, konjam vagaiyana biscuits ellam irunthuchu". 

"Cauliflower pakoda illaiya?"

"Illaiye, yen ithellam thideernu kekura?"

"Onnum illa, unakku thaan vera snacks ethuvum perusa pidikathe"

Magesh thought "Paravallaye, enakku pidicha snacks-nu annaiku athaikitta sonnatha innum nabagam vachirukale".

Both of them were silent for few minutes. Then Poorna talked "Sari naan vachiduren, vera yethavathu sollanuma?"

"Athai epdi irukanga?"

"Nalla irukanga"

"Sari appapo poi paathutu vaa mudinja"

"Mmm sari"

Again both of them were silent for couple of minutes.

"Sari naan phone-a vachidava?" asked Poorna.

"Vaikathanu sonna vaikama irupiya?"

Poorna don't know what to say. 

Magesh talked again "Ozhunga saptu, udamba paathuko, naan next anga varum pothu oru 5kg increase aagi irukanum, okva? Athuku ok-na phone-a vai, illana pesittu iru".

Poorna "Ithenna deal, fair-ave illa".

"Enakku fair-a irukira madiri thaan thonuthu"

"Yen solla maata? One week-a call kooda pannala, ippo romba akkarai, anbu madiri pesatha, naan phone-a vaikiren" Poorna disconnected the call and felt so light like a feather. She came and lied in the bed on her stomach swinging her legs, scribbling on a notebook, munnadi ellam 50kg iruppom, ippo depression, fever ellam vanthu 45kg agittom. She got up, stood in front of the mirror "romba ilachitom, athaan Magesh nalla sapida solran, paravalla konjam akkarai irukku". She smiled.

Pazhanisamy came upstairs "Yen ma Poorna, nee mattum thaniya enna panra?". He looked at the tea  and cauliflower pakoda that got cold. "Yen ma, sapidalaya?"

"Illa mama, enakku pidikala"

"Enna ma nee, ipdi irukka?"

He immediately called Magesh.

"Hello appa, sollunga pa, epdi irukeenga?"

"Naan irukarthu irukatum, nee Poorna kitta pesuriya illaiya? Avala enna yethunu nee kekka maatiya?"

"Enna aachu pa?"

"Pinna enna pa, eppo paathalum maadila thaniya irukkaa, kudutha tea, cauliflower pakoda aari poi kidakuthu, iva yen pa ipdi irukka? nee ithellam kekka maatiya?"

Magesh now understood why Poorna called and enquired about the snacks. She does care for him. "Mmm naan ava kitta solren pa"

"Ennatha solra, iru phone-a avakitta kudukiren, konjam neeye sollu avakitta".

"Poorna?"

Poorna was bit embarrassed and hesitating to talk to him. Pazhanisamy said "Naan keezha poren ma, nee mobile-a porumaiya kudu".

"Enna Poorna, appa keezha poitangala?"

"Mmm..."

"Naan inga nalla saptu jollya iruken, neeyum nalla sapidanum, sariya?"

"Mmm..."

"Enna vaarthaiye kanum?"

"Mmm sari, pothuma?"

"Pathaathu than, but paravalla adjust pannikiren" said Magesh.

Poorna disconnected the call quickly to save any more embarrassment and went straight to the bed, covered herself as if that will stop her blushing.
