Azhagu serial - Magesh - Poorna fan fiction - Episode 54 - 09/06/2019

They had dinner and was walking back to the hotel. Pazhanisamy instructed that they all should take bath in the Rameshwaram sea next day morning and then in the 22 theertha kinaru inside the temple. Everyone nodded. They reached the hotel and Poorna was hesitating to go into her room as she is bit concerned what Mahesh might do. She knows he will not harm her, but sometimes she is afraid of losing her composure and control when he is close. Ravi, Sudha and Appu went into their room, then everyone else bid farewell to Mahesh and Poorna and went into the family room. Mahesh opened the door and went inside the room. Poorna was hesitating and stood back for few minutes. Mahesh looked at her wondering why she is standing outside, then he realized that she might be scared of him kissing her or something. He smiled himself, changed his dress into something casual and went to the bed. After few minutes, Poorna came inside the room, took her nighty to the bathroom and changed her dress. She took a bedsheet and a pillow and spread it on the floor. Mahesh got up and was looking at her.

M: "Poorna, ozhunga kattulla padu"

P: "Naan enga padutha ungalukku enna?"

M: "Ippo ethukku keezha padukkira? Ennai avlo mosama ninachuta illa?"

P: "Ungakitta argue panra moodla naan illa, enakku tireda irukku, thoonga poren"

Poorna lied down and closed her eyes.

M: "Poorna, please, ozhunga kattil mela vanthu padu"

Poorna didn't reply anything. Mahesh took a deep breath and came to her. Poorna got up half and got scared to see Mahesh coming near her.

P: "Itho paarunga Mahesh, please ennai en ishtathukku thoonga vidunga, neenga evening behave pannina madiri pannineenga, avlo thaan solliten"

M: "Apdina ozhunga kattilla padukka vendiya thaana?"

P: "Enakku pidikalana vittuda vendiya thaana?"

M: "Vida mudiyathu"

P: "Yen ipdi pidivatham pidikureenga? Munnadi ellam en viruppatha madhichu thaana nadappeenga? Ippo enna aachu ungaluku?"

M: "Athukaga unna tharaila padukka viduvennu ninachiya? Ozhunga neeya ezhunthu vanthu kattilla paduthuko, illana naan thooki padukka vaippen, apram neenga thotta pidikkalannu azha koodathu"

Poorna looked at him angrily and got up and went to bed to sleep. Mahesh smiled and came to the bed. He looked at her, she turned around away from him and tried to sleep, but she couldn't sleep for long time. So many thoughts were running in her mind. She didn't know when she finally fell to sleep. Next day morning around 5.30am, Mahesh got up and brushed his teeth, had a coffee ordered by his dad, got one more coffee for Poorna and waited for her to wake up. Vasantha knocked on the door, Mahesh opened the door slightly and asked in low voice "Enna athai?". 

Vasantha saw Poorna still sleeping and started to speak in low voice too.

V: "Annan kalaila 5.30am ku ellam kilambanum sonnare, apram koilla kootam romba adhigam aagidum, eera thuniyoda 22 theertha kinarulayum kulikanum na romba kashtam, Poorna va ezhuppidu pa"

Mahesh turned around and looked at Poorna sleeping peacefully. 

M: "Ava travel ellam panninathala romba tired a thoongitu irukka athai"

V: "Aana koilla kootam adhigam aagiduchunna kashtam pa"

M: "Athai neenga ellam kilambungalen, ava innum oru one hour thoongatume, apram naane ezhuppi kootitu varen"

V: "Aana annan enna solluvarunnu theriyalaye, kova paduvare pa"

M: "Appakitta naan sollikiren, neenga vaanga"

Mahesh and Vasantha went out and Mahesh closed the door slowly. Everyone was getting ready to go to the sea and temple.

Pazhani: "Vaa Mahesh, Poorna enga? Kilambittala?"

M: "Appa, ava travel ellam panninathala tireda irukkannu ninakiren, asanthu thoongikittu irukka, neenga ellam first kilambunga, ava ezhunthathum naane kooptutu varen"

Pazhani: "Aana Mahesh ellarum onna pona kidu kidunnu koilla ore nerathula darisanam pannitu varalam, athoda illama unakku theertha kinaru pathi ellam theriyathu illa pa?"

M: "Athellam naan manage pannikuren pa, ivlo thooram vanthirukkom, thooka kalakkathoda koiluku pona ozhunga saami kumbida thonathu illa pa?"

Pazhani: "Sari pa, athukkunnu romba late aakidatheenga"

M: "Sari pa, naan paathukiren"

Eveyone got ready and left. Mahesh slowly opened his room door again and saw Poorna still sleeping. He knows that she had hard time yesterday night to go to sleep, so he didn't disturb her and wanted her to have a nice sleep. She woke up around 6.30am and saw Mahesh reading a magazine. She looked at the time and got up in rush. She thought "Achacho mama 5.30am ku ellam kilambanum sonnare". She got concerned and went out to see the next room and it was locked outside. She came back and looked at Mahesh, but he looked cool reading the magazine.

P: "Ellarum nammala vittutu kilambitangala?"

M: "Hmm yaaru pesarthu? Oh neeya? Yaarkitta pesura? Enkittaya?"

P: "Pcchh...unga vilayatta apram vachukonga, ellarum kadalukku kulikka poga kilambitangala ketten"

M: "Amam, unnala ennaiyum vittutu kilambitanga, ivlo nerama kurattai vittu thoonguva?"

P: "Yen neenga ennai ezhuppi irukkalam illa? Vera yaarume namma room kadhava thattalaya?"

M: "Unna ezhuppi iruppen, apram naan thotta pidikala solluva, athaan unna thottu ezhuppala"

Poorna got angry and didn't know what to say to him.

Mahesh tried to hide his smile and urged her to get ready. "Sari sari ippavavathu kilambura idea irukka illaiya? Illana unnala enakkum govinda govinda thaan".

Poorna went to bathroom and got ready.

She came out and asked Mahesh "Anga poi kulikka porom thaana? Inga kulikka vendam thaana?"

M: "Mmm athaana kulikarthunale kashtam, ithula extra vera kulichiduviya enna?"

Mahesh teased her. Poorna wanted to hit him on his head. But she knew he will enjoy if she hits him. So she controlled herself. She started to pack a set of dress for herself. Mahesh handed her his clothes in a polythene cover. She stared at him.

P: "Neenga vena thaniya oru bagla vachu unga dressa eduthutu vaanga"

M: "Enna? Nethu kudutha madiri umma venuma?"

Poorna thought "Cha udane mutham kuduthalum kuduthuduvan, ethuku vambu, avan dress-ayum namma dressodaye vachukalam". She grabbed the polythene cover that has his clothes and packed it in her bag angrily.

M: "Towel ellam eduthukitiya?"

P: "Mmm"

M: "Soap eduthukittiya?"

P: "Mmmmmm"

Mahesh smiled again and said "Sari vaa polam"

Both of them started their 10 minutes walk to the Rameshwaram beach in front of the temple. They met Pazhani and everyone else on their way. Everyone was full wet and shivering in the cold. Pazhani said "Mahesh, purushan pondatti rendu perum onna kai kothu kadalukulla poi kizhakka paathu sooriyana kumbittu, moonu thadavai mungi ezhunthirikanum, sariya? Apdi pannina ella paavamum neengi kuzhandai bakkiyam seekiram kidaikkum"

M: "Mmm saringa pa"

Pazhani: "Sari pa, seekirama kulichutu nera koiluku vanthudunga, 22 theertha kinarula kulichutu dress maathitu saami kumbida vanthudunga"

M: "Ok pa"

Mahesh and Poorna started to walk again.

M: "Kettiya?"

P: "Enna kettiya?"

M: "Appa sonnatha kettiya-nu ketten"

Poorna didn't say anything. They reached the sea. The beauty of sea and sun rise made Poorna happy. There is no waves in Rameshwaram sea. Mahesh removed his shirt and put it in the bag and  started to descend into the steps in the sea. Poorna was little bit hesitant. Mahesh stretched his hand to her.

P: "Naane irangi vanthuduven"

M: "Sari vaa"

As Poorna touched the water, she felt the wave of coldness in her bones and it made her shiver, so she stopped.

M: "Hey first apdi thaan kulirum, oru mungu mungitta kulir ellam poidum, vaa vaa"

Poorna took the next step and stumbled. Mahesh held her. She felt embarrassed to get his support, but she knew if she stumbled again, it will be more embarrassing in front of Mahesh, so without opposing him, she allowed him to hold her hand and let him lead. Mahesh took her further into the sea.

P: "Mahesh vendam, romba thooram kadalukkulla pora madiri irukku, enakku bayama irukku"

M: "Hey loosu, thirumbi paaru, stepsa vittu rendu adi thaan eduthu vachu irukkom, athukulla bayantha epdi? Athoda illama inga thithi kuduthavanga podura porul ellam midhakkuthu, konjam ulla poita thanni cleana irukkum"

P: "Mmmhmm enakku bayama irukku, ingaye naama kulichutu poidalam"

Poorna grabbed his hand with her right hand and stopped him walking further.

M: "Hey loosu, athaan naan irukken, bayapadatha solren illa? Few steps vaayen, supera irukkum, apram neeye innum konja neram irukkalam solluva"

Poorna was hesitant, but she didn't say anything else after Mahesh's assurance, she held Mahesh's hand tightly, Mahesh also held her hand tightly to protect her. They went into the sea till the water level reached above their waist. There were slight waves which made them go high and down. Mahesh asked her to turn to the east side to see the sun rise. He relieved her hand to pray and both of them prayed to Sun. He held her hand again and asked "Readya? En kaiya pidichiko, antha kaiyala mooka moodiko, naan 1,2,3 sonnathum mungi ezhunthirichidalam, okva?". Poorna replied "mm sari". Then they immersed in the sea three times. Mahesh asked "Polama?". Poorna started to enjoy the dip in the sea and didn't want to go out. "Innum konja neram" she said. Mahesh smiled "mm ok". She kept dipping in and out of the sea while holding Mahesh's hand. After a while, Mahesh said "Pothum Poorna, apram sali pidichuka poguthu". Poorna half heartedly came out of the sea with Mahesh. Once she came out of the sea, the chill breeze touched her and she started to shiver. Mahesh also felt the coldness. He gave her the towel. But she denied saying "ippo itha use pannita apram theertha kinarula kulicha piragu towel venume". Mahesh opened the bag and offered his old shirt. "Itha chumma mela pottuko, konjam kulir kuraiyum" he said.

P: Illa vendam

M: Hey solratha kelu, apram fever yedhavathu vanthuda poguthu

P: Athellam onnum varathu

M: Sonna kekka maata?

P: Naan solratha ellam neenga kekkureengala?

M: Keppen, konja naal time kudu, sila problem ellam solve pannitu nee solrathellam naan kekkuren, okva?

Poorna didn't say anything. She tried to walk fast as it made her feel like the cold is not much when she walked fast. Mahesh sighed and walked behind her. They reached the queue for theertha kinaru. Mahesh bought tickets and had some 10rs notes in his wallet as he read that sometimes they need to give 10rs to the person who is fetching the water from the well. They followed the numbers for all the wells, one person fetched the water from the well, another person poured it onto the people's heads. Everytime they poured, Poorna started to shiver. She was shivering while they walk from one well to another well. Mahesh took his shirt out and covered her. She couldn't say no to the shirt or resist in the crowd, she didn't want to make a scene in front of people. He took off his shirt from Poorna when they reach the well to keep it dry for her. Once they finished the 22 theertha kinaru, they came to the queue for men and women to change the clothes. Poorna gave Mahesh's clothes to him. She went in the women's queue.

M: Dress maathitu ingaye wait pannu Poorna

P: Hmm sari

Poorna came out after changing her clothes. She took her time to wear a pattu saree in pink colour with violet colour border. When she came out, Mahesh was standing there wearing a vetti and pink colour shirt drying his hair with a towel. Poorna couldn't take her eyes away from him. There was one lady who accidentally pushed Poorna on her way out and Poorna realized she has been standing there admiring Mahesh for God knows how long. She thanked God that Mahesh didn't see her admiring him. She walked casually trying not to give any attention to him.

Mahesh looked at her for a second and thought how beautiful Poorna looks in this saree, but he noticed Poorna's stiff body language and he also tried to act casually.

M: "Inthaa thalaiya thuvattiko"

Mahesh tried to put the towel on her head and tried to dry her hair.

P: "Pchh vidunga, yaaravathu paatha enna ninaipanga"

She grabbed the towel from him and started to dry her hair. Meanwhile Mahesh tried to call Pazhanisamy to enquire their whereabouts, but he didn't pick up the call.

M: Sari vaa, koilkulla mobile use panna koodathunnu appa edukkala pola, naama darisanam ticket vaangitu ulla polam

P: Konjam wait pannunga, lesa thalai kaanjathum pinnitu varen, koilukulla thalaiya virichu pottu poga vendam

M: Oh ok ok, appo nee thalaiya kaaya vai

Poorna dried her hair a little bit and tried to do a loose plait. They both went into the temple and had good darisanam. The priest asked their names and natchathiram, Mahesh was lost as he didn't know these information. But Poorna told the priest her and Mahesh's name and their natchathirams and she also told Vasantha's name and her natchathiram and the priest did pooja and gave flower to Poorna and blessed her and Mahesh.

After coming out of the temple, Mahesh asked "Amam...naama archanai thattu ethuvume vaangitu pogalaye, aana iyer nammakitta name and natchathiram ellam kettu archanai panninaru?"

P: "Amam athu enakkum puriyala, nalla velai neenga konjam kaasa thattula vacheenga"

M: "Kaasukaga panninarnu solriya?"

P: "Illa illa naan apdi sollala, apdi paatha namakku munnadi irunthavangaluku kooda panni irukkalame, aana namakku panninaru, at least archanai ticket kaasavathu kudutha madiri irukkum illa? Athai thaan solla vanthen"

M: "Mmm..."

When they came out, they saw Pazhanisamy and everyone else. They were all happy to see Mahesh and Poorna like this, in pattu saree and veshti and that too in matching colour.

Pazhani: "Vaa pa Mahesh ungalukaga wait panni paathom, apram aala kaanum, sari epdiyum neenga saami kumbittutu ipdi thaan varuveengannu ingaye wait panna arambichitom"

M: "Amam pa, konjam late aagiduchu, but paravalla nalla darisanam thaan"

Pazhani: "Amam pa, engalukum nalla darisanam, sari sari vaanga, yedhavathu oru hotel-la poi tiffin saptutu room ku poi eera thuniya ellam kaaya pottu, rest eduthutu evening pola kilambina Rameshwaram la irukka Ramar Padham, Abdul Kalam house, apram floating stone ellam paathutu varalam"

Kavya: "Super idea pa, enakku kooda Kalam ji house-a paakanumnu romba aasai"

Thiruna: "Appa Dhanushkodi eppo pa porathu?"

Pazhani: "Dhanushkodi naalaiku poikalam pa"

Everyone had breakfast, went to the room, spread their wet clothes on the robes to dry and had a nap. Poorna felt so tired, she changed her saree into a nighty and went to have a nap. Mahesh was also so tired and went to sleep. Afternoon, Vasantha woke up Mahesh and Poorna to go for lunch. Once they had lunch, they all played some board games that was brought by Kavya. Poorna felt little bit headache and excused herself to go to her room. She took a paracetamol and went to sleep again. In the evening, they hired two share autos to visit Ramar Padham, to the temple that has floating stone and some more temples and Abdul Kalam house. Next day morning they all went to Dhanushkodi. The deserted place has its own beauty and so are the ruins of chruches and houses from 1960s flood.

Pazhani: Mahesh nee eppo pa Kodaikanal kilambanum?

M: Naan night anytime kilambina pothum pa, naalaiku morning munnadi naan Kodaikanal-la irukkanum, neenga ellam eppo pa kilambureenga

Pazhani: Naanga ellam naalaiku kalaila kilambalannu irukkom pa

M: Oh sari pa

Mahesh asked Poorna to walk with him along the coast of Dhanushkodi. Poorna denied. Poorna thought no one saw them. But Vasantha had been noticing the friction between them for last two days. She was happy to see them both when they came out of the temple. But after that she noticed Mahesh trying to tease Poorna and she ignored Mahesh or got annoyed with him. So Vasantha wanted to confront her.

V: Poorna inga vaayen, inga irunthu paatha anga oru manal medu theriyuthu paaru

Poorna got up and went near Vasantha who was standing in far distance from everyone else.

P: Enga ma theriyuthu?

V: Unkitta konjam pesanum, athaan koopten

P: Enna ma sollu

V: Enna di naanum paathute irukken, Mahesh unna seendarthum, nee avankitta muraikkarthum, avana vittu vilagi vilagi irukkarthum, ethuvum sariya padalaye?

P: Apdi lam onnum illa ma, unakku thaan theriyum illa? Avar eppo paathalum kindala yedhavathu tease pannite irupparu, thaniya irukkum pothu apdi pannina paravalla, ellar munnadiyum pannina sangojama irukkatha? Athaan avara chumma vilayattuku muraippen

V: Ohoo....sari ippo unna oru walk polannu koopiduran, nee yen vara maatenu solra?

Poorna thought "Ayyo amma ithellam note panrangala?"

V: Sollu di, unna thaan kekkuren

P: Lesa thalai valikkuthennu varalannu sonnen ma, nee ennai engalaye nottam viduviya?

V: Nottam vittu thaanadi aaga vendiyathu irukku, nee evlo prachanaiku apram Mahesh-oda santhoshama iruntha, athula thirumba ethuvum kularupadi vara koodathe, athana kavalaiya irukku

P: Athellam onnum illa, nee veena manasa pottu kuzhappikatha, naan avaroda walking poren sariya?

Poorna went and asked Mahesh to come with her for a walk.

M: Enna thideer maatram?

P: Ippo vara poreengala illaiya? Poorna asked him in low voice while trying to fake her smile.

Mahesh noticed Vasantha watching them from a distance and he understood why Poorna is asking him. But he joined her for a walk anyhow and they started to walk away from Vasantha and along the ruins of churches and fishermen huts.

M: Poorna, nee eppo Kodaikanal vara pora?

P: Enakku ungakooda pesave viruppam illa, en ammavukaga thaan naan intha walk-ye varen, ithula Kodaikanal varartha pathi kekkureenga

M: Poorna naan thaan konjam time kudunu kekkuren illa, enmela konjam nambikkai vaikka koodatha?

P: Inimel unga mela nambikkai vaikka enna irukku, antha photovula irunthathu unmai-nu accept panniteenga, athu thappunu ungaluku thonalanum solliteenga, inimel neenga time kettu ennatha enakku explain panna poreenga

Both of them walked a stretch arguing back and forth. Finally Poorna shouted "Enakku unga kooda vaazha pidikkala, seekirama divorce pannikalam".

Mahesh became dumbstruck hearing Poorna's words and Poorna got shocked to see Vasantha standing in front of them.

Vasantha came near Poorna. Mahesh got shocked to see Vasantha too. Vasantha slapped Poorna and asked "Evlo thimiru iruntha vaazha pidikala, divorce venunu keppa?" Vasantha raised her hand to slap Poorna again. But Mahesh held her hand back. "Athai, enna ithu? Ethuku ipdi Poornava araiyureenga?"

V: "Vidu Mahesh, ivala evlo arainjalum thagum, evlo thimiru iruntha unkooda vaazha pidikkalanu solluva, enna di, amma oruthi nalla nadamada arambichitale, yen innum uyiroda irukka-nu paakuriya?"

Poorna started to cry.

V: "Enna madiri situation-la di avan oru vaarthai kooda pesama un kazhuthula thaali kattinan, athukku nee kudukkira parisa ithu? Innum antha Ravi athaan, pothaanaye ninachutu irukkiya?"

M: "Athai, please, athellam onnum illa, ava chinna ponnu, enmela irukka kovathula theriyama pesitta, neenga atha perusu aakatheenga, appa, ammavuku therinja kashtama poidum, neenga konjam amaithiya irunga"

V: "Epdi pa amaithiya irukkarthu? Padichu padichu ketten, unga rendu perkulla yedhavathu problema-nu, illave illanu samalicha......"

Vasantha started to breathe fast and shallow and started to cough.

Mahesh and Poorna got tensed.

P: "Amma, amma, ennachu ma?"

V: "Thanni, thanni...konjam venum"

Mahesh ran to the huts, most of them were empty, he finally found some people in a hut and brought some water from them to Vasantha and gave it to her. After drinking the water, Vasantha became unconscious.

P: "Mahesh ammavuku enna aachu? Enakku bayama irukku"

Poorna cried. Mahesh consoled her "Bayapadatha, naan poi auto pidichutu varen". Mahesh ran to his family and informed them about Vasantha and helped Vasantha into the auto and took her to a hospital in Rameshwaram.

Dr checked her and said "Bayapadura madiri onnum illa, BP adhigamagi unconscious agitanga, but heart problem history yedhavathu irukka?"

Pazhani: "Amam Dr, avalukku heart attack vanthirukku"

Dr: "Apdina avangala tension aakama konjam coola handle pannunga, ippo two hours inga irukkatum, apram naan kudukkura tablets edutha pothum"

Pazhani: "Naanga poi paakalama Dr?"

Dr: "Poi paarunga, but romba disturb panna vendam"

Poorna went and hugged Vasantha and cried. Vasantha turned her face away and smiled at Pazhani. "Onnum illa anna, neenga bayapadatheenga"

Everyone left the room. Vasantha asked Mahesh and Poorna to stay.

P: "Amma, yen ma enna paathathum moonja thiruppikura?"

V: "Unakkum Maheshkum enna problem?"

P: "Athellam perusa onnum illa ma, just normal argument thaan"

V: "Normal argument thaana?"

P: "Amam ma"

V: "Apdina nee avanoda innaiku nighte Kodaikanal kilambu"

Poorna got shocked. Mahesh too got shocked. Mahesh and Poorna looked at each other.

M: "Athai ungaluku udambu gunam aagattum, athukkapuram Poorna varattum"

V: "Illa Mahesh, athu sariya varathu, unakku en ponnu kooda vaazha viruppam irukka illaya?"

M: "Enna athai ithu kelvi?"

V: "Irukka illaiya?"

M: "Of course athai, ava thaan en uyir"

V: "Paathiya di, pothuma? Nee kilambu"

P: "Amma please, unakku udambu konjam sari aagattum, apram naama itha pathi pesalam"

V: "Ithula pesa onnum illa Poorna, nee Mahesh-oda irunthale naan nalla iruppen"

Poorna cried so much. Mahesh's eyes got wet to see Poorna like this. He wanted to hug her and wipe her tears.

V: "Kilamburiya?"

P: "Amma please"

V: "Mahesh kootitu kilambu"

M: "Athai at least oru two hours inga irukkome"

V: "Sari naan hotel ku vanthathum first velai ungala Kodaikanal anupparthu thaan"
