Azhagu serial - Magesh - Poorna fan fiction - Episode 50 - 03/06/2019

Mahesh and Poorna looked at each other under the moonlight. Poorna although as much as she protested to avoid the closeness from Mahesh due to the calls from an unknown girl, she did yearn for Mahesh's closeness. Mahesh too was thinking "Cha irunthu irunthu romba naal kazhichu innaiku thaan Poorna enkitta konjam anbavum, nerukkamavum iruntha, athukkulla vanthu keduthutangale". Finally everyone went to sleep with the help of breeze from the coconut trees. Next day morning, everyone woke up early at the sunrise. Kavya and Thiruna were assigned the tasks of sorting out the bedsheets and pillows and bringing them downstairs. Mahesh took shower and was doing something in the laptop when Poorna came out of the shower. He hugged her from behind. 

"Ayyo......enna ithu kalailaye? Time 6.30am aachu" Poorna tried to relieve herself from him.

"Hmm namakku kalai, iravellam irukka enna?" Mahesh kissed her on her neck.

"Illaiya pinna? Office kilamba vendama?" asked Poorna.

M: "Kilambanum thaan, aana nethu night ellam un ninappula thookame varala theriyuma?" 

P: "Mmm....athaan paathome, nalla kurattai vittu thoongittu, kadhai viduratha paaru"

M: "Sari nethu kathai ellam vidu, ippo....."

P: "Enna ippo?"

Poorna smiled and started to give in to Mahesh's desire. They both forgot the time in each other's arms. Its around 7.30am. Poorna had to rush him to the office.

P: "Mmm ezhunthirichu kilambunga"

M: "Kandippa office poganuma?"

P: "Amam, neenga office poreengalo illaiyo, naan keezha kitchen-ku poi aaganum, illana Sudha, athai ellam enna ninaipanga?"

M: "Unakku already udambu sari illanu avangalukku theriyum"

P: "Irunthalum....ethanai naal avangale ella velaiyum seivaanga? Kalaila konjuna varaikkum pothum, neenga office kilambunga, naan kitchen poren"

Poorna got up, had another shower, dressed up and went to the kitchen.

Mahesh left to the office.

Poorna helped Sudha with breakfast and lunch chores and came back to her room and started to browse her mobile. She noticed that she had received a video message from a new number with the options to block or accept the new number. She could see Mahesh and a girl in the thumbnail. She downloaded the video and started to watch it. The video doesn't have any audio, but it spoke volume about what is going on there. Mahesh and the girl are walking towards the cafe, Mahesh opening the door and waiting like a gentleman with a smile for the girl to enter the cafe first, once they entered he pulls a chair out and signalling the girl to sit. Once they sat, he shows her a menu card, she seems to deny the offer, he seems to compel her, she accepts, he discusses something with the waiter and orders something for them to eat. For most part, Mahesh was all smiles and talks pleasantly with her.  She is showing something in her mobile to Mahesh. There were couple of moments when they seem to have some kind of argument and Mahesh appeared intense and looked deep into her eyes. When they finished the conversation and got up, Mahesh again sent her off like a gentleman. She offers to hand shake with him and without any hesitation, he shakes hand with her too. After nearly 30 minutes of conversation, they seem to depart their ways. After watching this video, Poorna couldn't think straight. Is it Manthra? Why do they have to meet like this? What do they have to talk about? Why he didn't say anything about this meeting to her? Does Mahesh have to tell Poorna who he meets and talks to in everyday life? If she is a colleague, he wouldn't be this formal coming to the cafe, would he? It looked like a meeting someone he doesn't meet often. And if it is a normal meeting, this person doesn't have to send the video to Poorna like this. So it must be Manthra. If it is Manthra, then it is indeed alarming. Poorna felt like someone stabbed in her back. She decided to wait for Mahesh and talk about this. She received a message from the same number "This is just the beginning, you are in for more shock, but your husband will try to cover it up nicely from you". Poorna couldn't breathe normally, she was getting furious.

When Mahesh returned from the office, Poorna was sitting in her room like a statue.

M: "Hello Madam, enna light kooda podama ipdi iruttula ukkanthu irukeenga?"

Mahesh went and knelt down in front of Poorna who was sitting in a chair having her legs folded.

Mahesh caught her feet and started to play with her toes.

M: "Hey enna aachu? Udambu yethavathu mudiyalaya? Dulla irukka?"

Poorna didn't answer anything. There was a storm stirring up inside her, about to burst anytime. Mahesh slowly got the feeling that Poorna is upset for something. Once he got that feeling, he got up and went to change the dress. He changed the dress and refreshed himself. He opened his laptop and started to work on something.

Poorna didn't talk anything, didn't move from the chair. Mahesh waited that she will move during dinner time, but she didn't. He thought "Hmm Madam unmaiyave nalla kovathula thaan irukkanga pola, ennava irukkum?". Around 8.30pm, Mahesh got up and asked "Sapida varalaya?"

Poorna didn't reply anything.

Mahesh thought "Pochu da, vedhalam thirumba murunga marathula yeriduchu polave, hmm innaiku ivala sapida vaikarthukulla pothum pothum nu aagidum".

He went to have dinner and when he came back, he brought couple of chapathis with kurma for Poorna.

"Poorna sapida vaa"

No reply from Poorna. Mahesh went and knelt down in front of her chair again and took her hands and asked "Enna aachu?"

Poorna's eyes got wet, but she didn't say anything.

M: "Kekkuren illa? As usual, thirumba moonja thooki vachutu ukkanthu irukka, ippo lam unakku ithu vadikkai aagiduchu, sollu innaiku epdiyum yedho prachanai panna pora, naan aasaiku alairavan, alpamanavan intha madiri words ellam supera un vaaila vara poguthu, sollu, enna sollanumo sollu, ellathaiyum kettukiren, en thalaila ithellam anubavikkanum-nu ezhuthi irukku, anubavichu thaana aaganum?"

Poorna buried her face on her knees and started to weep.

Mahesh is lost and don't know what to do. He usually knows how to handle Poorna's outbursts and mood swings, but these days, since the Manthra issue started, he is lost on how to handle her, how to convince her to believe him, he knows he is not able to share everything openly with her and that is the reason for his inability to manage her anger on this matter.

M: "Ippo enna aachunu sollitu azhariya?"

Poorna stared at him angrily.

P: "Ippo enna naan azharthu thaan ungaluku prachanai illa? Naan azha koodathu, ungakitta kova pada koodathu, ungala thappa ethuvum sollida koodathu, avlo thaana? Naan nimmadhi illama thavicha ungalukku enna? Neenga nimmadhiya irukkanum? Apdi thaana? Neenga nimmadhiya irunga pothuma?"

She shouted and went to bed, covered herself with a bedsheet and closed her eyes tightly and pretended to be sleeping.

M: "Pcchh...Poorna, neeyum nimmathiya irukkanum-nu thaan ninakiren, athanala thaan unakku enna problem-nu kettu solve panna try panren"

Mahesh sat on the other side and touched her arm.

Poorna pushed away his hand angrily.

M: "Paathiya?? Ippo yaar kovama nadanthukira? Nee thaana? Naan pesanumnu thaana try panren, nee thaan co-operate panna matengura"

Poorna got up and sat. "Oho, neenga pesa ready? Naan thaan co-operate panna matenguren?"

M: "Amam"

P: "Sari vaanga pesalam, naan kekkarthuku ellam neenga badhil sollunga"

M: "Ennala solla mudiyura vishayathuku solren"

P: "Athaana paathen, neengalavathu honesta ellathukum badhil solrathavathu" Poorna sulked.

M: "Sari enna-nu mudhalla sollu, apram naan badhil solratha pathi yosikkalam"

P: "Oh ithu supera irukke, naanga kashta pattu, vedhanai pattu enga manasula ullatha ellam kotti pesuvomam, ellathaiyum kettutu ivarukku vasathiyanathukku mattum ivar badhil solluvaram, illana solla maataram, sabash, neenga romba samarthiyam thaan"

Mahesh sighed.

P: "Enna salippa irukka? Irukkum, ungalukku enkooda pesarthu salippa thaan irukkum"

M: "Apdi lam illa, unkooda epdi pesarthunnu enakku theriyala"

P: "Atheppudi theriyum? Enkooda pesa epdi theriyum? Athaan pesarthukku ippo vera oruthi irukkale, avakitta pesa theriyum, enkitta pesa theriyathu"

Mahesh looked straight into her eyes and tried to figure out what she is talking about. Mahesh's intense look made Poorna uncomfortable and she couldn't hold it any further.

P: "Ipdi murachu paatha bayanthuduvena? Evalayo cafe-ku kootitu poi pesittu irunthu irukkeenga? Yaar ava? Ava thaan unga missed call Manthra-va? Unga chat heroine Manthra ava thaana?"

Mahesh was silent.

P: "Sollunga ungala thaan kekkuren"

Mahesh again looked at Poorna thinking how he can manage this situation.

P: "Enna poi sollalam? Ivala epdi manage pannalannu yosichutu irukeengala?"

Mahesh couldn't find any answer, so he continued to be silent, it made Poorna so furious. She shook his hands demanding an answer.

Poorna broke down crying. "Ayyoo enakku paithiyame pidichidum pola irukke, thayavu senju vaaya thiranthu yedhavathu sollungalen, cafe-la oru ponna meet pannineenga illa? Athu eppo meet pannineenga? Netha illa? Munnadiyeva? Antha ponnu per enna? Please sollunga, yen ipdi silenta irukeenga?"

Mahesh couldn't see Poorna breaking down like this. So he decided to answer her as much as he could safely without revealing too much.

M: "Nethu thaan meet panninen, antha ponnu per Manthra thaan, kalyanathuku munnadi chat pannuvane, antha ponnu thaan"

Poorna was dumbstruck hearing those words. On one side she is relieved that finally she got some answers, but the answers shocked her, she wanted everything to be a dream or at least she expected Mahesh to say that the girl is a colleague and they went for a casual chat up over a coffee. She didn't expect him to admit that the girl is Manthra and the one he used to chat with. She became puzzled on what to ask next. But tears poured down from her eyes.

Mahesh became helpless and annoyed to see Poorna crying like this. "Ippo ethukku azhara? Ithula azhara alavukku enna irukku?"

Poorna thought for a second "Enna ivlo casuala kekuraru? Oru velai azhara alavukku perusa onnum illaiyo? Naama thaan karpanai pannikuromo? Illa illa ivar epdi thaan evlo periya issue-nalum pesi pesiye ennai cover panniduvaru, ivarkitta naan yemanthathu ellam pothum, intha thadava naan kekura vidhathula ella unmaiyum velila varanum".

M: Sollu unna thaana kekkuren, ithuku poi ethukku ukkanthu azhuthuttu irukka?

P: Ungalukku unga pazhaiya kadhaliya meet panrathu avlo easyana vishayama poiducha?

M: Kadhaliya? Enna ularura?

P: Amam kadhali thaana ava ungalukku? Avala neenga kadhalikkala-nu sollunga?

Mahesh sighed.

P: Chumma perumoochu vidatheenga, sollunga, neenga avala kadhalicheengala illaiya?

Mahesh was silent and again looked at Poorna's eyes straight.

P: Ipdiye murachu murachu paatha naan bayanthuduvennu paatheengala? Ozhunga unmaiya sollunga neenga avala kadhalicheengala illaiya?

M: Kadhalichana enna-nu ellam enakku solla theriyathu

P: Ithenna badhil? Onnu kadhalichennu sollanum, illa kadhalikkalannu sollanum, rendum illama ipdi sonna enna artham?

M: Itho paaru, nee expect panra madiri badhil venuma? Illa en manasula irunthu vara badhil venuma? nee expect panra madiri badhil venuna oru paperla ezhuthi kuduthudu, apdiye padichu solren

Poorna thought "Enna periya ivaru madiri pesuraru? Solra madiri avarkitta irunthu unmai thaan varanum namakku, aana kadhalichana, enna-nu theriyalannu sonna enna artham? Avarkittaye keppom".

P: Naan edir paakura madiri neenga badhil solla vendam, unga manasula irukka badhil sonna pothum, aana neenga sonnathu enakku puriyala, did you love her or not?

M: Athaan sonnane, enakku theriyala, appo ava mela oru attraction irunthuchu, athukku per love-a illaiyanu enakku theriyala, athellam purinjukarthukulla namakku kalyanam aagiduchu

Poorna couldn't bear the thought he used to find some other girl attracted and worst of it is that he couldn't be sure if it is love or not. She thought "Nammala compel panni kalyanam panni vachutanga, illana antha ponna thaan love panni irupparu pola, apdina naan thaan avar santhoshatha parichuten pola". She started to cry again.

Mahesh went to sleep. Poorna couldn't believe that he is going to sleep casually. She increased her weeping in an effort to attract his attention. But he didn't seem to give her the attention she expected.

She shook him. "Naan oruthi pesittu irukken, neenga paatuku thoongina enna artham?"

Mahesh got up and sat. "Sari sollu, vera enna theriyanum?"

P: "Antha ponnu mela attraction irunthuchunna ennai yen kalyanam pannineenga?"

M: "Really?"

Poorna got confused. "Enna really?" she asked back.

M: "Nijamave intha question kekkuriyanu kekkuren"

P: "Ithenna kelvi? Nijama kekkama poiyaava kekkuren?"

M: "Ayyo, unna enna solrathunne puriyala, namakku enna madiri situationla kalyanam aachu, nee ennadanna savagasama ukkanthu ava mela attraction iruntha ennai yen kalyanam pannineengannu kekkura? Apdiye unna thaan kalyanam pannanum-nu oru kaalula ninnu plan panni kalyanam pannina madiri kekkura?"

Poorna couldn't believe what she heard. "Oho apdina ennai pidikama thaan kalyanam pannikiteenga illaiya??"

M: "Ammadi aala vidu, un mood sari illa, unkitta pesina veena sandai thaan varum, naalaiku evening naan Kodaikanal kilambiduven, apram nee nimmathiya irukkalam, pothuma? Good night"

Mahesh covered himself with a bedsheet and his thoughts started to run wild "Sabbaa ivala epdi samalikkarthunnu puriyalaye, ithukke intha podu podura, full detail therinja nammala konnuduva pola irukke, ivala inga vittutu porathu safe thaana? Kodaikanal-la innum veedu ethuvum ready pannala, but ivala inga irunthu kooptutu poita nallathu, konjam situationa namma control la vachukalam, illana ellame kaiya meeri poga chance irukku, epdi ivala kilapparthu?"

Mahesh turned around and saw Poorna sitting still with tear drops in her eyes. He caught hold of her hand and asked "Naalaiku enkooda neeyum Kodaikanal vanthuden".

Poorna didn't know what to make of this sudden turn around by Mahesh. She remembered the message that was received along with the video "He will try to cover it up nicely". So she thought "Ethaiyo cover up panna thaan thideernu Kodaikanal koopiduraru pola irukku, illana ivlo naal atha pathi pesama thideernu yen koopidanum? Ithula yetho vishayam irukku"

M: "Sollu Poorna, naalaiku neeyum enkooda Kodaikanal vaa, evening kilambalam, day fulla irukku, nee unakku venumgartha pack pannidu"

P: "Enna thideernu Kodaikanal koopidureenga? Ithana naala itha pathi pesave illaiye, neenga mattum kilambura madiri thaana pesittu iruntheenga? Ippo enna thideer change?"

M: "Thideernu ellam illa, unna romba naalve kooptutu poganumnu thaan plan, idaila thaan Kodaikanalla mansarivu, namma temple function athu ithunnu plan maari pochu, ithula thideernu koopida enna irukku? Apdiye thideer plana iruntha kooda enna thappu? Yen naan koopta nambi vara maatiya? Unna enna apdiye nadu kaatula vittutu poiduvana?"

P: "Apdi ellam poga mateenga, aana ippo officela irunthu vanthu kooda itha pathi pesala, thideernu pesureengale, athaan konjam idikkuthu"

M: "Unna kooptathu en thappu thaan, naalaiku evening kilambi iruntha kooptutu poven, apram un ishtam"

Mahesh this time really went to sleep as he is tired and is not in the mood to participate in anymore drama by Poorna.

Poorna took the mobile and sent a reply to the new number. "Who is this? Why did you send this video?"

As the light lit up from Ravi's mobile, Sudha noticed in half sleep and probed Ravi "Ravi ungaluku yetho call varuthu pola irukke".

Ravi got up and saw the message in whatsapp and smiled. "Call ellam illa, just msg thaan, ithukku poi ezhuppi vittutiye" he went back to his sleep.

Poorna noticed that person coming online for a split second and went off. "Cha yaara irukkum? Namma msg paathutu reply pannama poitangale"

Next day morning, she didn't help Mahesh as she usually does. She was just looking at her mobile. She received a msg from the new number. "Why do you want to know who I am? Videos and the valuable information I'm sharing with you should be enough for you, no need to know who I am, but if you insist on knowing me, then you will have to give answers to my questions".

"What questions?" asked Poorna.

"Does your husband urge you to go to Kodaikanal with him?"

Poorna got shocked to see his/her msg like this. "Ivanukku epdi theriyum? Unmaiya othukalama, illa vendama?"

"Why do you want to know?" asked Poorna.

"I ask the question, you give me the answer" from the other side.

Poorna didn't reply for 10 or so minutes, but she couldn't resist anymore. "Yes he asked me to go to Kodaikanal with him".

"What did you say?"

"I denied, I am wondering why he is asking me all of a sudden, do you know anything?"

"Yes I know why he is asking, but its a good thing that you denied"

"Why? What if I go with him?"

No reply from the other side.

Mahesh noticed Poorna being on the mobile since the morning. As he was about to leave to office, he came to the bed and peeked into Poorna's mobile. She stared at him "Ethukku ippo en mobile-a paaka try panreenga?"

"Kalaila irunthu antha mobile-ye sincere-a nondikittu irukkiye, athaan enna vishayam-nu paathen" said Mahesh casually.

"Enna? Ennai santhega padureengala? Naan onnum evan koodayum kadalai varukkala"

Mahesh stared at her angrily and left to office.

"Nalla thiruppi kuduthana? Kovama murachitta poreenga? Unmaiya sonna kovam varutho?" she mumbled herself.

She kept looking at the mobile to see if there is any new message.

Mahesh was convinced that Poorna will definitely come with him. No matter how angry she is, he knows that his charm will work with her and she can't resist his charm and will come run behind him he thought. "Enmela evlo kovam irunthalum ava kandippa enkooda varuva, naan kooptum athai maruthutu avalala inga ukkanthu irukka mudiyathu".

When he returned from work, Mahesh saw Poorna in the bed. He could see she cried a lot as her face was swollen up. She hadn't packed anything. He started to pack his clothes while looking at her every 5 minutes to see if she is moving or giving any attention to him.

Once he finished the packing, he went and sat near her and asked "Poorna unakkum ellathaiyum pack pannatuma?"

P: "Mmmhmm vendam"

M: "Yen Poorna? Enkooda vara viruppam illaiya?"

Poorna didn't say anything.

M: "Naan poi unakku rendu moonu dress eduthu vaikkuren, meedhi ellam anga kooda vaangikalam"

He packed few clothes for her and asked her to get up and to get ready. But she didn't move.

M: "Yen neeyave yethetho karpanai pannikittu unnaiyum kashta paduthi ennaiyum kashta paduthura? Kodaikanal-la naan already oru veedu paathu vachu irukken, innum advance kuduthu fix pannala, but poi fix pannikalam, first floorla veedu, suthi malai, kaadu-nu romba azhaga irukkum, anga neeyum naanum mattum santhoshama irukkalam, vaa Poorna"

She showed a picture in her mobile and asked "Ithu eppo eduthathu?"

Mahesh got shocked to see the picture, his face became red. "Intha picture yethu unakku?" asked Mahesh.

P: "Enakku epdi kidachuthunnu apram pesikalam, eppo eduthathu-nu mattum neenga sollunga"

Mahesh couldn't believe that Poorna got this picture, he doesn't want to talk about it, he got so furious.

M: "Ippo nee enkooda Kodaikanal vara poriya illaiya?"

P: "Intha picture-a paathathuku apramum enna koopida ungalukku vekkama illa? Ketta kelviku badhil solla mudiyala, aana jambama Kodaikanal vaa-nu koopiduranga, ungala naan evlo uyarvana idathula vachu irunthen theriyuma, cha, ivlo keezh tharama nadanthupeengannu naan ninaikkave illa"

Mahesh's face was like a stone without much emotions other than anger and rage. He took his bags and said "Naan kilamburen".

Poorna stood on his way. "Ipdi odi poitta ellam sari agiduma? Ippo enakku badhil sollama neenga engayum poga mudiyathu".

Mahesh was so ashamed and didn't want to stand there not even for one second, he also was so angry on Poorna for some reason.

"Ennai thadukka nee yaaru?" asked Mahesh.

Poorna couldn't believe what she heard. She fired back "Naan yaara? Naan neenga thaali kattuna manaivi, naanum pona poguthu, innaiku illanalum ennaikavathu oru naal unmaiya solluvarunnu poruthu poruthu paathen, aana neenga ivlo keezhtharama iruppeengannu naan edirpaakala, ithukkappuramum onnume badhil sollama neenga odi pogalannu ninacha athukku naan vida maaten, ozhungu mariyathaiya intha photo eppo eduthathu, enna karumathukaga eduthathu-nu sollunga".

"Solla mudiyathu, unnala enna panna mudiyumo, panniko, naan kilamburen, bye" Mahesh left with his bags. Poorna stood there like a statue.
