Azhagu serial - Magesh - Poorna fan fiction - Episode 21 - 14/09/2018

It has been two weeks since Magesh left to Kodaikanal. Poorna extended her stay at Vasantha's place for few more days. Pazhanisamy called her and enquired her why she didn't come back. "Onnum illa mama, amma-voda irukanunu thonuchu, athaan". "Ok ma, vera inga onnum unakku problem illa illa?".

"Athellam onnum illa mama"

The real reason is Poorna tried her best to avoid Ravi for a reason that she cannot pinpoint exactly. Magesh also didn't question why she is staying at Vasantha's place. He already overheard the conversation between Ravi, Sudha and Azhagu about Poorna eating and how Ravi insulted her. So he thought it is good Poorna stays with Athai as she will be happy there. 

Magesh and his colleagues were estimating and trying to reserve several acres in mountain to build the reservoir. It is not easy as it is mountain area and not a flat surface and they had to be creative to use the space. So they decided, they will build three steps reservoir. Poombarai village beauty made Magesh to miss Poorna so much. He wanted to enjoy its beauty with Poorna, at the same time, he doesn't want to push it so fast. He spoke to local people and got acquainted with them, asked their guidance to find houses, he had two or three houses on his mind. Since Poombarai is a village, the rent or advance is not going to be too expensive, but the downside of it is to find a house with all the facilities a city dweller would look for. He did find a house which looks like a hut, but actually a nice cottage kind of portion in the first floor of someone's house. It had its own balcony surrounded by trees and had the attached bathroom, bedroom. The person who built the house used to live in London. When he built the house, he mainly aimed it for tourism purpose, he also wanted to keep the first floor portion for himself. So that whenever he comes to India, he can go and stay there to enjoy the beauty of Kodaikanal. But recently he semi-retired from his job as he has already settled well with three businesses in Chennai and his kids are gone to college in London. He and his wife are living in the ground floor portion and he rent the first floor portion to tourists occasionally. He commutes to Chennai on business purpose often and he doesn't want to rent it to the Bachelors. He liked Magesh on their first meet and is happy to rent it to Magesh and Poorna. Magesh also liked the portion on the first glance, but he couldn't give the house owner an exact timeline when he can take it for rent. The house owner said "Take your time Magesh, we just rent it out to families for a week or so when they visit Kodaikanal. But my wife would like a couple or family to stay upstairs for a year or so to bring some stability and she can do with some company. The houses here are far apart from each other as you can see and she tends to get bored when I travel to Chennai on business purpose."

"Ok sir, en wife Chennai-la irunthu vara one or two months agalam, athaan konjam yosanaiya irukku"

"As I said, take your time" patted the house owner on Magesh's shoulder with a smile.

Magesh wondered if he can open up this topic to Poorna soon.

Poorna was having a relaxing day, pampering herself in the salon. She has always done everything to impress Ravi, not for her own self. So this time, it felt strange, new but good that she is doing it for her own self. She is not doing it to impress Ravi or Magesh. For the first time ever, she is having a glance on her own self. She didn't want to be bothered by any calls or anyone. So she had her mobile turned off. She spent the whole day in the spa, having facials, massage, manicure, pedicure. She did say Vasantha not to call her or worry about her as she will spend the whole day there. When she finished everything, she turned on her mobile, couple of messages and tons of missed calls, voice messages from her college friend Deepa. Poorna read her text message "Hey enna di, call pannina edukkave matengura? Marriage aanathum maranthutiya enna? Illa phone number yedhavathu maathitiya? Naan unna paaka unga veetuku thaan di vanthutu irukken, address kekkalanu thaan call panninen, but got it from your marriage invitation. Innum oru naal thaan Chennai-la irupen, so want to see and wish you both before I leave Chennai, un Ravi athaan ninapula ennai maranthuta paathiya? Iru vanthu gavanichukiren". Poorna was in shock. Her friend knows everything about Ravi and Poorna and have met Ravi with Poorna many times and spent time in coffee shops. She is living in Delhi now and couldn't come for marriage. Although she called Poorna before to wish her, Poorna didn't want to attend her call and talk about the mishaps happened in her marriage. Now her friend is going to her in-law's place. Poorna doesn't want any more rage or anger, so she wanted to meet her friend before she reaches her in-law's place. She has messaged she will arrive around 5.30pm. Now it is almost 5.15pm. Poorna was rushing to Pazhanisamy house.

If it was 5 mins before, Poorna would have stopped her friend going to her in-law's place. Now Poorna was standing outside hesitating to go into the house, but she can clearly see her friend sitting in the sofa, given coffee by Azhagu. Ravi was sitting on the other side. Sudha was getting downstairs from her room. Deepa was asking "Enna Ravi sir, en friend Poorna-va neenga konjam kooda freeya vida mateengala? En call edhuvume ava attend panna matengura, msg reply panna matengura? Illa marriage-ku varalanu enmela yedhavathu kovama?"

Ravi and Azhagu looked at each other and were looking lost what to reply. Sudha also understood what is going on and was as lost as others two. Deepa was looking at everyone puzzled.

"Enna ellarum ivlo silenta irukeenga? Poorna enga?"

Azhagu replied "Athu....ava avanga amma veetuku poi irukka ma".

"Oh apdiya? Chumma thaana poirukka? Thirumba vanthuduva illa?"

"Amam, amam, chumma thaan poirukka" said Azhagu.

"Eppo varuva aunty?"

Azhagu looked lost again thinking what to say "Rendu moonu naalula thirumba vanthuduva".

"Oh ok aunty, naan avanga amma veetuke poi paathukiren, Ravi neenga avala paaka varum pothu ellam naama coffee shop-la, park-lanu meet pannuvom, appo unga rendu pera naan neraiya photos eduthu irunthen, athellam oru collage-a panni intha wall paper prepare panni irunthen, ungaluku pidichirukka paarunga" Deepa was trying to give it to Ravi.

But Poorna snapped it from her hand angrily and stared at the wall paper. She torn it apart and took it to the kitchen, threw it in the sink and set it on fire.

Everyone especially her friend was dumbstruck. She came out of the kitchen and grabbed her friend's hand, "Vaa pogalam".

"Hey Poorna, enna achu di? Yedhavathu problem-a unakkum un Ravi athanukum..."

"Niruthu di, chumma inimel avana Ravi athan, Ravi athan-nu sollatha, en kazhuthula thali kattinavar per Magesh, mudhalla nee inga irunthu kilambu" Poorna dragged her friend outside and got into an auto.
