Azhagu serial - Magesh - Poorna fan fiction - Episode 7 - 27/07/2018

After helping Poorna to lie down in the bed, Magesh sat opposite side of her in the sofa and watched her for few seconds and she was also watching him and she started to feel uncomfortable as Magesh is not taking his eyes off her. So she turned her eyes away, closed them and pretended to sleep. "Enna ipdi nammalaye paakuraan? Anba paakurana, kovama paakuranane puriyalaye? Annaiku vera overa insult panni anuppitom, enna thaan udambu sari illanu odi vanthu hospital ellam kootitu ponalum namma kitta directa pesartha avoid panran. Annaiku naan insult panninathuku kovama irukkaan pola. Kovama iruntha ethuku hospital ellam kootitu poganum?" Poorna was thinking back and forth as she wanted to understand Magesh's mindset.

Meanwhile, Magesh was also going through lot of things in his mind. "Rendu naalla aale oru madiri agittale? But avaluku antha chance kudukama naama inga irunthu paathuka vendiya thaan, rendu naal fever-la ivlo weak aaguranna sariya sapidurathu illaiyo? Epdi sapiduva? I want to see that bubbly and loving Poorna as my wife".

Magesh came to reality and he went downstairs to see if the porridge is ready. Selvi akka and Vasantha were talking in the kitchen. Magesh happened to overhear this conversation and he asked Vasantha "Ennaiku athai Poorna 7.30 maniku keezha vantha, sapidave illanu soneenga?" "Vaa Magesh, athu vanthu nee vanthutu poniye, annaiku thaan pa, ava paathi thookathula irunthalame, athanala nee kooda avala disturb pannama poitiyaame, thoongi ezhunthu kulichutu ava keezha varum pothu mani 7.30, kannellam veengi irunthuchu, kulichutu thalai kooda sariya kaaya vaikala, annaiku than pa intha cold arambichithu, naan thaan alatchiyama irunthuten...." Vasantha was going on blaming herself while Magesh re winded everything happened that day. "Ava kulichutu varum pothu 5.30 irukkume, 7.30-ku thaan kulichutu vanthatha athai solranga, naan vera disturb panna vendanu poitenu Poorna ivanga kitta solliruka, kannellam veengi irunthuchaame, namma kitta kovama pesittu azhuthu iruppalo?" Magesh felt sad but hopeful.

"So even though she scolded me, insulted me, she must have been felt bad about it. So she doesn't hate me as much as she tries to make me think. She still has some place for me in her heart" thought Magesh. For Magesh, it is reassuring as he hopes with his love and care, he can heal the wounds of Poorna and can live a happy life with her. He knows it is still a long way to go, but still it gave him a glimpse of hope.

"Inthanga thambi, konjam inji thuvayal vachirukken, naakukum sullunu irukkum, jurathukum nallathu". "Thanks ka". "Neenga enna thambi sapidureenga? Idly sudattuma, dosai sudattuma, illa vera yedhavathu senju tharattuma?" "Ippo onnum pasi illa ka. Time enna 6.30 thaana aaguthu, 8.30 pola thaan sapiduven, idlye podhum ka".

Magesh came upstairs and locked the room, for some reason, it made Poorna nervous. "Ippo ellam ivan kooda thaniya irukkave bayama irukku" she thought to herself while still pretending to be sleeping. "Poorna?" Magesh gently patted on her arm and sat besides her in the bed. How long she could pretend? She slightly opened her eyes and acted like waking up from half sleep. "Enna?" she asked. "Inthaa, intha kanjiya kudichitu thoongu". Her mouth was so bitter and she was feeling nauseous. So she refused to have kanji. "Enakku vendam". 

"Yen vendam?"

"Pidikala, vomit vara madiri irukku"

"Konjamavathu sapta thaan themba irukka mudiyum, Selvi akka unakaga inji thuvayal ellam senju kuduthirukanga, sapidu"

Poorna got up and stared at Magesh and went into the restroom. Nearby the place Poorna was sleeping, there was a diary or notebook which was open and as Magesh turned, some words caught his eyes, so he pulled it closer and what was written there is "I'm sorry Magesh, I'm sorry Magesh, you don't deserve me, I can't accept another man, etc, etc...". She scribbled these things when she insulted Magesh two days before. As she was crying, she wrote these things and just left it in the bed. As Magesh was reading those lines, his eyes were becoming wet, these lines confirmed him that Poorna cares for him and that made him happy. He can understand why Poorna is feeling guilty, she is caught between playing wife role and love-failure-girl. Magesh wanted to talk to her and reassure her that she doesn't have to feel guilty and he will wait for her, etc. But he knows that Poorna is not ready to have a heart to heart conversation with him. But he decided somehow he will make her feel better. As he was thinking, he heard Poorna coming back from the restroom, so he pushed away the notebook and pretended like not reading anything.

Magesh wanted to ask Poorna to eat, but when he opened his mouth, he realized the words were stuck in his throat. He had to remove that karakarappu and pretended to be normal. And said,

"Sapidu Poorna" as he was fighting his tears.

"Pidikalana vidu Magesh" she yelled irritatingly.

"Ellame un ishtathuku vida mudiyathu, sapidu" Magesh told assertively and took a spoonful of kanji to feed her. 

"Enna ivan? Eppo paathalum overa miratturan, ipdiye vitta namma pecha kekka maatan pola irukke, voice vera oru madiri irukku, romba feel panrano?" Poorna was thinking to herself. 

"Sapidu Poorna, athaiku thunaiya irukenu sollitu, nee ipdi udambu sari illama paduthukitta enna artham? Athoda illama nee seekirama themba aana thaana namma veetuku poga mudiyum" Magesh told kindly. 

"Athuvum unmai thaan, enakku udambu sari illana ammavum feel pannuvanga, rendavathu naan seekirama anga pona thaan antha Ravi-Suthava torture panna mudiyum, en life-a keduthutu athunga mattum santhoshama vaazha vitruvana? Vida koodathu, seekirama saptu udamba thethalam" Poorna convinced herself to have the porridge and she took the spoonful of porridge fed by Magesh right at the time Magesh was saying following things.

"Poorna, en chellam illa, ammu kutty illa, sapidu da chellam" Magesh said with a naughty smile and winked at her playfully. He knows he is risking of making Poorna angry, but for some reason, he wanted to say these things to Poorna with so much desire and urge. Since it is confirmed to him that Poorna cried after insulting him, he got happy as it means she cares for him. He wanted to hold her slender figure and protect her within his arms, since he cannot do that until Poorna accepts him, he wanted to express his feelings in a minimal way and so used these endearments. Now it looked like Poorna started to eat after Magesh saying these endearments. It obviously made Poorna shocked and Magesh excited. Magesh happily gave another spoon of kanji to feed her. Poorna accepted another spoon of kanji as she was still in shock to hear those words from Magesh. She doesn't know how to get angry at him. And because of cold and fever, she doesn't have enough energy to argue as well.

Magesh couldn't believe himself. First of all, he is feeding Poorna and she didn't get angry on him for using those words. He was happy and smiley. He kept feeding her and she was eating without saying a word. The porridge was over and he patted on Poorna's cheek saying "Chamathu, sari intha tablets ellam pottutu thoonga vendiya thaan". He gave her the tablets and she took one by one. "sari paduthuko" she lied down on her side. He adjusted her bed sheet, looked at her and she also looked at him. He took a big sigh and caressed her hair. At this point, Poorna's eyes were becoming wet and tears were dropping on her cheeks. Seeing this, Magesh got worried and he knelt down on the floor on side of the bed and asked "Hey enna aachu? Yen ippo azhara?". "Onnum illa" said Poorna while weeping. Magesh didn't want to force her to say anything, so he paused for a minute, but he held her hand and said "Poorna, onnu mattum purinjuko, naan unna ennaikum judge panna maten, some people can understand your pain, but even they don't know the full effect of it, because it is felt by you only, after all these things, you still wake up every day and face the world, you didn't go and end your life, that shows you are a strong girl, I admire you for that, thali kattiten, kalyanam panniyachu apdingarthukaga sollala, honesta solren, unna enakku pidichirukku, unkooda santhoshama vaazhanunu aasaiya irukku, wait, naan solli mudichiduren, but unakku enkooda vaazha aasai illama kooda irukkalam, enakku teriyala, take your time as much as you like, I'll wait for you, but let me be near you through thick and thin, sariya?". Magesh's affection was soothing and healing to Poorna. She didn't want to fight or argue or say anything negative to him, she also doesn't have much energy. So she just looked at him and nodded her head. Magesh became so happy and he kissed her on her hand. "Sari nee thoongu, naan sofa-la paduthukiren" he got up and tried to relieve his hand from Poorna's. But Poorna didn't leave him. Magesh looked at her "Enna da? Yethavathu sollanuma?" She just nodded. Magesh knelt down again and asked "Enna sollanum sollu?" She tried to hold back her tears and asked "Enna judge panna matenu sonniye, athu unmaiya?" "Of course da, unmaiya thaan sonnen, unna ennaikum edhukagavum naan judge panna maten". "Apdina antha sofa chair-a inga kondu vanthu pottu ukkaru". Magesh wondered if she is going to have a long conversation, he thought it is not right time to have any heart to heart conversation as he worried she might cry and as she is not in good health, he doesn't want her to cry, but at the same time, he doesn't want to stop her either. So he pulled the sofa chair near the bed, sat down and said "Sollu". She took one of his hands and brought it near her cheek and slept on his palm. "Konja neram ipdiye paduthukattuma? Unakku comfortable-a illana vendam, apram itha vachu vera edhuvum kekka koodathu?" said Poorna. Magesh smiled and caressed her head, hair, forehead and said "Edhuvum kekka maten, pothuma? Nee nimmathiya thoongu". He continued to caress her head. Poorna slept peacefully for the first time ever.
