Azhagu serial - Magesh - Poorna fan fiction - Episode 6 - 24/07/2018

After Magesh left, Poorna took a deep breath and sat down on the bed thinking about what just happened. She managed an awkward moment with Magesh, but it did bother her and she doesn't understand why. She knows deep down in her heart it is not fair on Magesh the way she behaved. But how else she could behave? If she behaved politely and excused him, he might take it easy and more of this will happen in future and he may start to take more advantage. She cannot allow that to happen. Because although she hates Ravi to the core, she is not ready for any other man either. She lost her trust on manhood, she cannot even trust her own instincts. She even questions her sanity on and off. Her head hurts, her heart aches, instead of all this pain, she sometimes wishes that earth will swallow her up and finish this pain once and for all. Is it easy for her to be cruel to Magesh like this? Hell NO! She finds it easy to hurt Ravi, Azhagu and Sudha, but not Magesh or being two faced to Pazhanisamy or to even pretend to her mother that she will accept Magesh one day. Ravi, Sudha and Azhagu did wrong for her and never apologized to her, in fact, they all blame her. But Magesh is being kind to her. Pazhanisamy and her mother trust her. So of course, it is not at all easy for her to behave like this to them. But she has no other option. She has to hurt Ravi back, make him to realize what he did wrong, then she will not even care if she drop dead, because she cannot imagine a life with another man. She broke down in the bed and started to cry. "I am sorry Magesh, I know I hurt you, but I don't love you, I don't think I can ever love you and I don't deserve your love too, because I'm using this marriage to take revenge on Ravi, once I make Ravi realize what he did wrong, I will disappear from your life and that will give you way for you to find a nice and deserving girl for your love and you can live happily. That is all I can wish for you." She was weeping heavily and calmed down God knows after how long. Vasantha didn't know Magesh leaving early. She didn't go to Poorna's room as she didn't want to disturb them in case Magesh was there. It may have been an hour or more than that. Poorna got up, changed into a dress and she can feel her eyes are so heavy after crying for so long. She worn some make up to hide that. Dried her hair with the help of hair dryer. Vasantha looked at her and asked "Where is Magesh? Did you see him or did you just wake up now?". 

"Yeah he saw me half asleep...... and left immediately not to disturb my sleep" told Poorna sneezing in between.

"Enna aachu di? Sali pidichukucha enna?" asked Vasantha caringly.

"Athellam onnum illa ma, sari agidum." 

Selvi made some milagu soup for Poorna and they all were chatting away happily. But Poorna's mind was filled with Magesh, she thought to herself, "en mela yen ivlo akkaraiya irukaan? ivan ivlo akkaraiya illama iruntha naanum ivlo feel panna thevai illa, Ravi, Sudha, Azhagu kannuku ellam naan pei pisasu madiri thaana teriyuren, antha madiri ivanum enna ninachuka vendiyathaana? nee onnum romba ellam avanukaga feel pannatha Poorna, avan mattum enna sonnan "unmela avlo love ellam illa-nu thaana sonnan". Apram ethuku naan avanuku feel pannanum? " Poorna fought his thoughts away and tried to concentrate on Vasantha and Selvi's chat. Selvi was going on about the "Aadi koozh thiruvizha" in the Amman temple in her street. Vasantha said "naama kooda intha Friday poitu varalam Poorna". Poorna nodded half minded.

On the way to home, Magesh was trying to control his anger. "How could she insult me like this? Kalyanam aana naala irunthu ennaikavathu naan avala thappa pathirupana, pesirupana? In fact enakku ella urimaiyum irukku, irunthalum rendu perum oruthara oruthar purinjukitta anba irukarthu thaan first, mathathellam apram-nu naan ninakala? Ennavo velai illanu perusa insult panra? Cha, evlo thimiru irunthaa...". He geared fast, but then remembered he is on a road where innocent people are travelling and his rage and anger not only injure him, but also others. He cooled down himself and rode his bike safely with the consideration of his safety and others. Magesh never let his emotions control him. He went back to home and asked his mom "What is for dinner?" "Idly da, sapiduriya?" "mm kudunga, romba pasikuthu". He had a tummy full dinner and asked Azhagu to give him a tea. "Intha nerathula yen da tea kudikira? Paal kalanthu tharattuma?" "Illa ma, tea-ye kudu". Azhagu didn't want to argue and gave him tea. Magesh took it to his room, took a sip, turned on his laptop, opened the job sites and started to tweeze his resume suitable for the advertisements and started to apply. He used to shy away from putting efforts into job searching in fear of rejection and failure. But nothing can hurt him than Poorna's insults. So he applied for every position in Chennai. He fell asleep around 2.30am and not even aware when he moved to bed from his desk. He woke up around 11am next day and turned on the laptop, opened his emails to see if he got any reply. He did get the automated replies that the application was received. He contacted his old friends who graduated along with him, but now in good position. He asked their guidance on correcting the resume and also asked them to refer him. Some of them did refer couple of managers and gave their email address for him to drop an email. He did so and went for lunch around 3pm. Azhagu asked "How is Poorna and Vasantha?" Magesh was thinking to himself "Poorna, ava epdi iruntha enakenna? Manasula periya azhaginnu ninappu...". Azhagu poked him "Magesh, unkitta thaan da ketten?" "Ah enna ma, Poorna-va nalla irukka ma, athai-yum nalla irukanga". Magesh continued his job hunt through emails and online applications, next day he also went out to see his friends work places who offered him to come around to say hi to their managers. 

Poorna, what started with sneezing, grew into cold and flu. Two days after Magesh visited them, she went into full viral fever, she denied Vasantha's suggestions to go to hospital and kept saying tablet will be enough. Vasantha also started to wonder "Why Magesh didn't visit us for last two days?". Magesh on the other hand was angry in the beginning, but then he also wanted to visit Vasantha athai and Poorna, but he is not ready to face another insult from Poorna, so he controlled himself from going there. He got a call from Vasantha. "Sollunga athai". 

"Epdi irukka Magesh?"

"Nalla iruken athai, neenga epdi irukeenga?" 

"Naan nalla iruken pa" paused Vasantha.

Magesh was also silent for a min or two, then asked "Poorna epdi irukka athai?"

"Avaluku thaan pa konjam cold and fever a irukku"

"Cold and fever-a? Enna aachu? Doctor kitta kootitu poneengala?"

"Ava vara matengura pa"

Magesh got angry again, but then said "Athai phone-a vainga, naan varen".

Magesh was there in 30 mins. "Poorna enga athai?" "Maadiyula ava room-la thaan pa paduthu irukka". Magesh ran fast upstairs and saw Poorna lying down in the bed. He didn't speak anything, but touched her forehead with hand. Poorna opened her eyes and saw Magesh. He didn't look at her back. He can sense her temperature is high. Vasantha also came upstairs, "Athai nightya maathitu chudi yedhavathu pottutu vara sollunga, naan keezha wait panren, hospital poitu vanthudalam". "Amma, enakku onnum illa, athaan tablet potruken illa, sari agidum". "Athai naan keezha wait panren, seekiram kootitu vaanga" told Magesh and left to downstairs. Poorna was speechless with the assertiveness of Magesh. She don't think she can deny his assertiveness now and that too in presence of Vasantha. This is not the first time she is witnessing his assertiveness, when he asked to send Devi athai back to her home, she witnessed it and listened to him. This time in fact it is so intense. She has to listen to him, otherwise looks like he may explode with anger. She got up and Vasantha helped her to change her nighty to chudi. Poorna came downstairs looking very weak. Something was aching in Magesh heart to look at her like this. When she looked at him, he turned his eyes away and went outside, started his bike and was waiting for Poona to sit down. Once Poorna sat down "shoulder-a pidichiko". "Illa paravalla". He turned around, looked into her eyes and whispered assertively so that Vasantha won't hear "Pidichiko-nu sonnen". She held his shoulders and sat comfortable. He can feel the heat through her hand and wanted to make her feel better immediately. He rode as fast as he can possible but carefully to hospital. After getting injection, prescription and some scolding from the Doctor for being careless with high temperature, they came back home. "Doctor enna sonnanga Magesh?" "Temp romba adhigama agirukku, yen munnadiye hospital varalanu thittinaanga athai" "oosi potrukanga, tablet kuduthu irukanga, Selvi akka, konjam kanji vachu maadiku eduthutu vareengala?". "Saringa thambi". Magesh took Poorna's hand and helped her to upstairs and helped her to lie down in her bed. While helping her to lie down, he was holding her back and they both looked at each other forgetting the world and they both realized and pulled away from each others eyes.
