Azhagu serial - Magesh - Poorna fan fiction - Episode 45 - 19/04/2019

Poorna now got the name and address for the person who keeps calling Mahesh. She decided to be cautious before she takes her next move. She came back to her room and saw Thiruna and Kavya sitting in the bed besides Mahesh. Thiruna asked "Anni, Mahesh ku enna sonnanga Dr?"

"Viral fever-am, tablets kuduthu irukanga" replied Poorna.

Kavya "Sari Thiruna, Mahesh thoongattum, naama keezha pogalam"

"Mm sari vaa"

Both Thiruna and Kavya left.

Mahesh had been sleeping since afternoon. Poorna woke him up for dinner and for taking night time tablets. Although the temperature is coming down, Mahesh is heavily sedated and feeling his head so heavy and wanted to continue his sleep. After so much efforts from Poorna, he got up and had half of porridge and took the tablets. It broke Poorna's heart to see him like this, so weak and tired. She took proper care of him. On one side, she kept thinking about the person calling Mahesh and why might Mahesh would talk to her or avoid her, but on the other side, she wanted Mahesh to recover and get back to his happy self back. Two days passed with just Mahesh sleeping off and everyone trying to help Poorna to take care of him in every little possible way. Sometimes they give them the space and peace. Sometimes they would come to his room and try to talk to Mahesh. Sometimes they will help Sudha to make food for him. Finally on third day, Mahesh temperature has gone down totally. But the side effects are still there little bit, such as body pain, tiredness, bitterness in his mouth. He got up around 10am on his feet and was absorbing the sun light from his room balcony. It is Sunday, so everyone is at home, watching TV and chatting away in the hall. For last three days, Poorna's sleeping pattern is also changed. Sometimes she will be awake till 2am in the morning and get up late the next day. Sometimes she will snooze off in the afternoon along with Mahesh.

She came out of the bathroom covered in a skirt after the shower. Mahesh heard the sound and turned around to come into room and saw Poorna. It felt like ages for him to see Poorna like this in his room. Poorna got stunned for a second seeing Mahesh awake like this. She lowered her eyes and walked to the wardrobe to get her saree and blouse. Her heart started to flutter and can't focus on choosing the saree. She is shuffling the sarees and blouse for couple of minutes. Mahesh got hold of one yellow saree standing from her behind and said "Itha kattiko, nalla irukkum". Poorna looked at the saree and nodded her head to signal yes to his suggestion, but didn't turn to look at him. She then lowered her eyes again. She tried to pull the saree Mahesh suggested while keeping her eyes on the floor. Since she wasn't concentrating properly, the top row of clothes collapsed and started to fall. Mahesh got hold of Poorna from behind and pulled her away to avoid the clothes falling on her head.

He then turned her towards him and tried to make eye contact with her. But she still kept her eyes lower, he didn't relieve her. While keeping her in hold, he asked.

"Enna aachu unakku? Oru saree choose panna ivlo porattama?"

"Illa...athu vanthu...neenga sonna yellow colour saree thaan edukka try panninen, aana...."

She looked at him and got stuck with his eyes and couldn't speak further.

Mahesh started to enjoy her struggle. Poorna got embarrassed and tried to relieve herself from him. Although he looked weak from his viral fever, his hands are holding her strongly.

Poorna: "Vidunga, naan saree kattitu keezha poganum"

Mahesh: "Ethuku poganum?"

P: "Kalaila ungaluku eduthutu vantha kanji aari pochu, poi heat panni eduthutu varen"

M: "Athellam apram paathukalam"

P: "Sudhavuku lunch ready panna help pannanum"

M: "Athellam anniyum, ammavum paathupanga"

P: "Sari saree kattitu ungakitta pesuren"

Mahesh smiled and said "Athellam onnum vendam"

Poorna is lost and don't know what is going to happen next, but her heartbeat is increasing in ten folds.

P: "Ungalukkku.....ungalukku.....udambu sari illaye, rest...."

M: "Unna ipdi paathathum puthu thembu vanthuduchu"

Mahesh lifted Poorna and took her to bed.

Time flew.

Its around 12.30 in the afternoon. There was a knock on the door. Mahesh and Poorna both got tensed.

P: "Ayyayo Sudhava thaan irukkum, ippo enna panrathu?"

M: "Yen ipdi tension aagura?" smiled Mahesh.

M: "Sari nee bathroom-ku poidu, ketta nee kulichutu irukka-nu solliduren"

P: "Mm sari"

Mahesh opened the door slightly so that the person outside will not be able to see the fallen clothes on the floor. It is Sudha. "Mahesh neeya? Ezhunthutiya? Unakku ippo udambu epdi irukku? Poorna enga?"

M: "Athu...ava kulichirukka anni"

S: "Oh sari sari kulikkattum, ava kulichutu vantha piragu rendu perum keezha vanthu sapidureengala? Yen solrenna unakkum oru change-a irukkum, last three daysa udambu mudiyama roomkullaye irunthitta, innaiku Thiruna, Kavya, avaru ellarum veetula irukkanga, avanga kooda ellam pesitte sapta unakkum bettera irukkum"

M: "Mmm saringa anni, Poorna kulichutu varatum, naanum kulichutu ready aagiduren, apram keezha varom rendu perum"

"Mmm sari Mahesh, vaanga rendu perum" Sudha left.

Mahesh closed the door and said "Poorna, nee velila varalam, anni poitanga"

P: "Mm irunga naan innoru time kulichute vanthuduren"

Mahesh smiled and lied down on the bed again and had a small nap before Poorna coming out.

Poorna came out and saw Mahesh sleeping, she smiled and said to herself, "Intha thadava correcta sareeya eduthu kattidanum".

She draped her saree and started to sort out the clothes on the floor and put them in the wardrobe shelf in order. She then sat besides Mahesh and caressed his forehead and hair with a smile. Mahesh opened his eyes and saw Poorna in smile. He asked "Readya?"

"Mm ready"

"Appo naanum again ready" Mahesh pulled her close. Poorna now understood what he meant and got up and said "Pothum, pothum unga settai lam" in a stern voice.

"Hey neethana ready-nu sonna"

"Pcchh...vilayadatheenga, already Sudha vanthu kooptutu poiruka, ozhunga poi warm waterla udamba wipe pannitu vaanga, keezha pogalam"

"Pcchhh....enna Poorna nee? Evlo naal kazhichu innaiku rendu perum onna irukkom? Nee ennadanna..."

"Athukilla Mahesh, ippo santhoshama thana irunthom, ellarum keezha enna ninapanga? Athoda illama fever adhigam aagiduchunna enna panrathu?"

"Intha sappakattu karanam ellam enakku vendam" Mahesh sulked.

Poorna looked at him with love and care.

"En chellam illa? Ippo keezha povomam, nalla sapiduvomam, mathiyam poda vendiya tablets poduvomam, mathiyam nalla thoongi rest eduthutu, evening ellarodaiyum time spend pannitu, nighttu..." Poorna smiled.

Mahesh also got cheered up. "Mm sari, night enna maranthuda koodathu, okva?"

"Ungala epdi marappen?" Poorna pinched his cheeks.

Mahesh became enthusiastic and went to take a hot water shower.

When he came out, Poorna asked him.

"Enna pa, ungala naan udamba thudachitu thaana vara sonnen, ipdi kulichute vanthuteenga? Fever vera irukke"

"Hey athellam onnum aagathu di, kulicha thaan fresha irukku, nee onnum worry pannatha, fever ellam poiduchu" Mahesh assured her.

Both of them went down to have lunch.

Everyone was happy to see Mahesh back on his feet and that he came down to have lunch with them.

"Vaa Mahesh, three days kazhichu innaiku thaan un mugam theliva irukku, paakave santhoshama irukku" said Pazhani.

"Fever nalla kuranjiduchu illa pa?" asked Azhagu caringly.

"Mm amam ma, fever nallave kuranjiduchu" replied Mahesh.

"Face glowva irukkum pothe theriyalaya ma, fever kuranjiduchunnu" said Sudha with a smile.

Mahesh thought if Sudha is teasing him for something else. He got bit uncomfortable and looked at Poorna. She also was becoming uncomfortable with Sudha's remark.

Sudha "Sari sari, rendu perum ukkarunga, sapidalam".

Ravi was noticing all these subtle emotions on their face and was becoming furious. He wondered if his efforts to disturb Mahesh by hooking him up with his old chat friend works or not. If it works, then Mahesh shouldn't glow like this. He should be scared or at the least bothered. But he seems to be enjoying his life with Poorna. It wouldn't have bothered him that much if Mahesh and Poorna started their life after he started his life with Sudha. Moreover, Poorna acted as if Ravi is the love of her life and blamed him, insulted him and Sudha for their marriage. But now she seems to have moved on in her life with Mahesh. Either she loved Ravi or she didn't. Then why all the blame, insults? She thinks she can insult him and live happily with Mahesh. It means Ravi is wrong and weak, running second after them which doesn't sit with Ravi right. After the lunch, everyone started watching a movie. They closed all the windows and doors to have a theatre effect and turned on the AC and settled down. Mahesh asked Poorna to sit near him in the sofa. But Poorna sat on the floor near the sofa as Azhagu, Sudha were sitting on the floor mainly to take care of Appu's crawling and give him some company with his toys. As Pazhani noticed Mahesh is not able to sit still in the sofa, he thought may be Mahesh is still feeling the fever, so gave up the whole sofa for him and went to another sofa to sit with Thiruna and Ravi. Mahesh thanked his dad in his heart and lied down on the sofa. He made sure his face is on the side of Poorna. While everyone was watching the movie, he was looking at Poorna. She noticed this, but tried to ignore, wondered if anyone else sees this and think of them as wrong. She glanced at Mahesh couple of times and signalled to him to watch the movie. But he didn't seem to listen to her. He took Poorna's saree and started to play with it. She was getting nervous. It is dark, so no one would have noticed them, but still who would do these kind of things? Poorna thought. She grabbed the saree and got hold of Mahesh's hand and twisted his fingers as a punishment and again signalled him to watch the movie. Meanwhile Azhagu got hold of a pillow and laid down on the floor and started to snooze. Sudha noticed Mahesh and Poorna's play, but pretended to play with Appu.

Ravi noticed them too of course. The play between Poorna and Mahesh continued till the end of the movie. Its around 5pm. Everyone started to get up and opened the windows. Mahesh pretended to be sleeping. Poorna got up and walked fast to kitchen to avoid anyone noticing her blushing. She started to make tea. Appu went to sleep a while ago and he was sleeping near Azhagu. Sudha came to kitchen, she didn't talk with Poorna as she knew Poorna is already embarrassed. Sudha went on to make karpoora valli leaves bajji. Azhagu instructed her after lunch to make this for snack as it will help with Mahesh cold. Mahesh also had a small nap. Poorna has been blushing thinking about what happened before lunch and started to anticipate for the night. Once bajji and tea made, Sudha woke up Azhagu  and Mahesh and they all had their tea and bajji in the garden.

Mahesh's phone rang and he saw the number and suddenly realized that he totally forgot about her for last few days. He went away to have a strong word with her. He attended the call and started to speak. But he had to listen what the other person had to say on the other side. He became dumb and upset. Poorna noticed this.

When the night arrived, Mahesh didn't have his dinner fully. Everyone asked if he feels fine or if the fever is having some effect. He didn't answer much. He went to his room and lied down. Poorna came to the room and hugged him, but he didn't reciprocate. He pretended to be sleeping.
